ARE WE EXPECTING CHANGES AFTER ASC 2012 AGM?

With members in full force in a non-election year was interesting to mark a history of the millennium and outcry of our voices must be heard!

ASC’s 2012 AGM lasted longer than 5hours packed with members stayed back with participation eagerly wanted to see an end to the current management structure has been a lack of clarity, all under the manipulation of one man.  Most members expected Bishop Albert Vun appear in person to chair the ASC’s 2012 AGM coming forward for public apologies as how he had conducted himself in the previous AGM.

Members did not expect Bishop Vun to be silent, absent himself conveniently and deeply buried underground the issues in the blog.  If he thinks he is innocent with the issues raised, the greatest defence was to come forward to explain himself clean and reconcile with the people.  If he truly loves the church, why then he has avoided us?  Why only defended from the pulpit where nobody else can speak to challenge?

The Rector’s self-made rules at the proceeding of the meeting were very much like Bishop’s Vun style not to raise issues on personal attack.  Anyone tried to mention abusiveness of one man's power? Not allowed by the chairman!  How else can you address the issues if you want to say it? We see how manipulative they appear in large meetings like AGM how else can you imagine meetings in the PCC that our voices have always been represented in minority?

Was there a trick to swap the sequence of the 2 resolutions intentionally knowing the first resolutions required 2/3 majority?  The meeting dragged on until 8pm surely some people would have left to attend children at home.

Whether there was integrity in the scrutiny of voting for the 1st resolution of crying out for fairness in the decision making, it is seen rather an obvious manipulation of a “one man show”.  This problem remained unresolved if the elected PCC can never carry a fair voice in the decision making.  We must not let this issue unresolved.

A CALL FOR REPENTANCE TO THE BISHOP OF SABAH, DTK ALBERT VUN

TIME FOR THE RIGHTEOUS TO ARISE! Many had said Bishop Albert Vun is the man of God, how can he be so evil?  Isn’t he the Lord’s anointed? We can only conclude he was probably appointed based on misrepresented facts as we all know him well enough by now he is good at making himself look best and never tell the full truth. Greed, power, lies and self-glorification have definitely possessed and corrupted our Bishop Vun.  The current situation is not good for our Diocese of Sabah. Unless a bleak hope of total repentance, it is devastating if this continues. All issues raised are true and factual.  We suggest those in doubt or denial to validate these truths. Be watchful to the current situations and pray for God’s revelations as how we should move on.

Priest, pastors and Bishop Vun’s supporters had commented the bloggers as trouble makers. We urge you to come clean before God in complete honesty and total repentance before you make any comments. Please do not mock us as if you are the only righteous and spiritual people around. We want to resolve our present mess and failures caused by the bad conduct and dictatorship of Bishop Albert Vun. We do not want these to deteriorate further in ASC and the Diocese of Sabah. How can you rebuke us as liars and trouble makers but you chose not to be informed? We had prayed over these issues long ago but you chose to disagree with us because you are still in denial. This is serious to ASC and the entire Diocese of Sabah! We urge all priests and pastors to be more discerning, rise up righteously and pray with us. Much has been revealed and many people are hopeful our bishop is given a 2nd chance only if he comes clean and we all must continue to pray what is our next move if he refuse to repent.

Pride has definitely struck our Bishop Vun to deny and excuse himself not to entertain comments from anonymous.  Issues and facts are undeniable. Whether the complaint comes from anonymous or with identity it is totally irrelevant and such excuses can never be used as good defences. We have seen enough of Bishop Albert Vun and this is one of his cunning tactics to bury truths underground in total ignorance and denial. The tricks that worked in the past will not necessary work now because more are informed about his fatal flaws.
Should we sit and hope to see Bishop Albert Vun’s response to our call of righteousness after all he will pretend innocent his way? Do you think hoping for his repentance alone is good enough at this critical time?  God willing, even if he responds to the call of repentance, should he not be more appropriate to serve as priest instead of the bishop for this season until such time trust and confidence is regained?

The Anglican standard for the removal of bishop from office is when someone is unable to perform functions of his office, having infirmity of body and mind, misbehaviour and heresy. Don’t you think all the bad conducts of Bishop Albert Vun has far surpassed the tolerance level of the Anglican standard of a Bishop? Has he not violated the removal clause? Is he not in a situation with sufficient complaints to warrant for his removal?

Let’s respond to the call of righteousness for the good of our Anglican Diocese of Sabah.

Response to the Bishop of Sabah, Dtk Albert Vun's Conduct & Leadership

IT IS TIME OUR VOICES BE HEARD
Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia 2011.
How long more the Sabah Anglican Diocese continues to be in the hands of a dictator? What will happen to All Saints' Cathedral’s 100 years of deeply rooted spiritual inheritance nurtured from the previous faithful servants of God? How will this legacy be continued with the vision of a dictator of this season who leads the entire diocese & church with no biblical principles of humility, love, care, compassion & forgiveness?  Too many deceits and deceptions have covered up the real facts from being surfaced.  Too many lies & untrue facts have been given by him.  He will not tell how many experienced, dynamic, intelligent, godly trained people under him has been gotten rid by him and replaced by his team of young and inexperience people with no confidence to stand up to differentiate what is right and wrong in eyes of God. Isn't this called a dictatorship showing wicked leadership with no confidence?

How is his relationship with God then? Do you think he hears from God or himself? Over the past 5 years, sad to say many Anglicans have left the church.  Do you think a godly leader will continuously rebuke his good people from unveiling the truth if what has been done is justified with a worthy cause? Where is his heart? Do you think a leader with a heart after God will ask his people to leave the church as the body of Christ? Does he has the right to ask people to leave the church? Should the people leave or he should leave?
So many old members have left because they are discouraged with his preaching but he continues to paint a false picture there is growth. This is a total deception. Instead, he will show off his own accomplishment, famous in completing big projects & buildings, spending extravagantly for everything because of his capability but he never reveal the truth above all that those buildings done by him didn't go through any approval process.  He has exposed the entire Diocese to such a great risk just because he wants to show his own success for self glorification. Are we not living in God's grace? How long more can we continue with this?

In all occasion, just because he thinks he is the Bishop, he can exercise all his power and greatness without limit.  Can he exploit his power and position to such abuse?
Why is he so enthusiated on concrete buildings rather than building up relationship with people? Is it due to self seeking interest in money and power? Where is his true love of building up people? Don't you think this has gone beyond tolerance level?  What can we do to unveil the hidden truth of a wicked dictator who is leading the entire Diocese of Sabah at risks?

These many months of sermons have been bias over his own opinion rather than on the biblical teachings. Why are people trying to express their views about his leadership are being accused as mockers? Who are the real mockers? What relevance has the practice of Chinese superstition to the bible? Do you think he should be the Sanballat in Nehemiah instead of his members? Why is he denying his own wrongs by trying to deceive all the members? Do you think the Diocese will be in great trouble if continue under the leadership of a dictator? If you want to salvage our Diocese of Sabah, let's arise and do something before it is too late.

Let's give our comments collectively for the good of our next generations of Sabah Anglicans.
