A DAY OF PRAYER IN ONE HEART & ONE VOICE

Ezekiel 34 :7 “Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, because my flock lacks a shepherd and so has been plundered and has become food for all the wild animals, and because my shepherds did not search for my flock but cared for themselves rather than for my flock, 9 therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: 10 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against the shepherds and will hold them accountable for my flock. I will remove them from tending the flock so that the shepherds can no longer feed themselves. I will rescue my flock from their mouths, and it will no longer be food for them.”

Let’s commit corporately a day of prayer and fasting for our DOS and ASC on 15 November 2012 from 6am to 10pm.  We will conclude to pray together at STS chapel from 8pm to 9.30pm.

Our father in heaven, You know our sufferings, frustrations and many hurts of Your people. The Church of our Lord Jesus Christ has been betrayed from trusts, oppressed and persecuted in many ways by our leaders. We plead to You to bring an end to our long sufferings.
Lord, if our leaders have failed their duties as our chief shepherd, please deliver us through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Bring forth new hope, love and peace unto us.  Amen

  1. It is good to have a fast and pray for ADOS and hope many would join in as we all want to enter the promised land in Sabah as soon as possible without some people.

The day is good as it is a public holiday.

On the venue at STS, there may have problem of communication especially if many people join in the evening service at STS. Would we expect a few hundreds of desperate parishioners want to see a quick change?

In that context AS Cathedral ground would be most suitable especially in the raining season. Do we want to park our cars on the hill roads and walk up in the rain? Some may want to go there by public transport.

Also is STS really a neutral ground? Considering AVCF is so good to find excuse to truncate from STS to save the annual subscription of RM6,000 and also use the excuse to expand ADOS own training school for priests, and hope AVCF would not do it in these few months. Also AVCF even tried to truncate from the Province of Anglican Church in South East Asia with whatever excuse only known to him.

So why not have it in ASC and also a test to AVCF if he would reject own members?

  2. Joshua, read aloud, proclaim ,claim Joshua Chapter 3 every day for 3 days before 17th December.Consecrate yourself as you face the enemy daily. This is spiritual battle against "...against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm. ....put on the full armor and stand (stand firm in the LORD JESUS) Pray daily and commit this case, yourself, your lawyer and the Judge to HIM, ask for wisdom to deal with this case ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD.FEAR NOT FOR THE LORD IS WITH THE RIGHTEOUS MAN.Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways ACKNOWLEDGE HIM,and HE will make your paths straight (Pro.5-6).
    In Jesus name. Amen!

  3. Dear Joshua , I heard that you always do things your own way without considering the advices of others. If this is true, you should change your present altitudes and join with others to do things right. Remenmber, Unity Is Strength. I think you should also change your lawyer as soon as possible.
    All the Best !
