Is That All We Have Been Hoping to Hear From the Bishops?

Having struggled for 6 years in wilderness under the leadership of Bishop Albert Vun, the Anglicans in the Diocese of Sabah have not seen any signs of going into the promise land yet.  The House of Bishop has to come here to experience and understand the suffering of the people and should not be easily persuaded by Bishop Vun’s heresy.

Reports of the investigating team must have concluded that Bishop Vun is guilty otherwise he would not be even asked to take leave, right?  Why instead of putting a stop to the extravagance of Bishop Vun, the Diocese has to spend more money just for this problematic person?  How much then is his undisclosed salary drawn by his own discretion?  It must be made known and put on par with other bishops in the other dioceses.  Will he ever come back spotless after his sabbatical leave?  This theory does not work unless only if it is a miracle from God.

In all profit and non-profit organisations, people will not be asked to go on paid leave if they are problematic.  This will only happen if that person is seriously ill. Do we have a seriously ill (the mental aspect) and spiritually distorted Bishop?

Recommendations made in the Archbishop Pastoral Letter were merely the view of the House of Bishops for the spiritual aspects of Bishop Vun.

What about the hurts caused to the churches and the people through lies and deceptions?

What about the lack of clarity and lost of confidence in the adherence of governance in decision making and finances resulted in mismanagement of Diocesan funds?

We have far greater mess to clear.  The financials for the past 6 years are in the mess and we must get them sorted and reviewed by independents professionals. Having the assurance from Bishop Vun that his new treasurer will look into them is just merely another delaying tactics to get away with things. Properties were bought everywhere under the Bishop’s personal name with the funds of the Diocese.  These will have to be identified further if any others have not been disclosed.

The disunity of all the Anglican churches will need a new spiritual leader to take over for regaining that confidence we once lost.  All these will not happen so long Bishop Vun is the Bishop disregard he takes sabbatical leave or not.  We do not believe we still can be under his spiritual covering despite he is told to go on leave. Hurts caused by Bishop Vun to many people cannot be just covered up without proper closures by just getting him to go on leave.

If the House of Bishops is not effective in helping us through, we have to all stand high and tall as Anglicans, be united for the truth and righteousness.  Let all these not dismay us or affect our faith in God.  We should remain steadfast to reform a new beginning for our Diocese.

  1. I am shocked, real shocked to hear that for nearly a year of investigation, the result comes to nil!! It is all in favour of AV,what about the sheep? We went to the HOB for help because we respected them but what a waste of our time! If the HOB cannot help us then folks,we go our way to do something. What makes them think that after coming back from sabbatical leave he will be a changed man? The HOB should have come here to go and visit the interior churches and see with their own eyes and interview the priests without fear and favour but did they? They only interviewed AV personally but what did AV tell them?Nobody knows! They stood together to have photos taken giving us the impression that there was some favouritism! Did the HOB interview the members other than the PCC and standing committee?.NO!We are very disappointed,HOB does not care about the Sabah sheep as was promised by Archbishop that he heard their CRIES! My friend told me right from the beginning not to expect much from our HOB because they are all of the same feather but I refused to listen.I told that person that I respected the HOB because they are our spiritual leaders and would not be biased and how wrong I am.

I pray the professional members of our church to come out and form a group to fight to the end.How can we conform to fraud, corruptions,CBT etc..in our church?.It will be a laughing stock of the Anglican Church that a bishop inspite of all the wrongs he has done is let off with only a slap on the wrist,a few months sabbatical leave and come back as if nothing has happened. How I weep for my church!

  2. The HOB is not bothered to find out the truth of what is happening in ADOS.The sheep is left thinking-is this all there is from the HOB after patiently waiting for almost a year? Why must we still suffer and AV is given sabbatical leave from 6 months-a year with pay for doing nothing? We as members still have to pay him a salary inspite of the fact that he has siphoned a lot from the church?Where is the justice? After his sabbatical leave,he will come back like before plunder some more, then go for sabbatical leave again for the next 6 months or so?

The church accounts is still in a mess, doesn't the HOB want to remedy it for ADOS? What about all those properties and cars bought under the name of AVCF using the diocese money, academies running at a loss and the missing millions, doesn't the HOB want to find out and get to the root of things? All these are unfinished matters. How can we continue with all these problems still hanging in the air?How can the HOB shut their eyes just by letting AV go on sabbatical leave and when he comes back, everything is erased and starts all over again? Of course for AV he has nothing to lose but the hard earned money in the church belongs to the members ! They have a right to know where all the money have gone to.

  4. Rev, priests, do you realize that AV budget for personal entertainment is unlimited. He uses money under the Name of missionary works. His entertainment allowance is greater than the King and sultans. there is a budget for sultants but not for AV. It seems the whole Anglican institution is helpless to stop him. HOB cannot control him. Many still believe we must solve the crisis within the spirit of Anglican. Wake Up now, Priest, do you want to see the Anglican church being destroy by ONE man? Wake up, together we can put a stop on this. He had built up his power base and now be become immune to all check and balance.

  5. After reading the archbishop's letter,I don't think the HOB knows AV well. How many times we were fooled by him with his tricks. They don't know that he can twist and turn in everything he does and can turn on the crocodile tears to flood a padi field! It is very difficult to start afresh if the church accounts is not in order and all the church properties, money, cars are not accounted for with documents and receipts produced. Did AV promise that he would reveal everything and willingly produce them for all to see? Do we need to give him another court order to force him to surrender the documents? As it is many of us don't know how many properties the church has and how much money in the bank.Everyone is groping for the real truth and does not trust the figures in the books!Unless we get to the root of things,we can't just let AV go with a slap on the wrist!

What about a dean in the church? Rector still has to report to AV! What about changing some of the constitutions?

  6. We need to take control via SAFE now..

Otherwise, it is really finish by Feb 2013 and ADOS is done with...

    FEAR NOT...

  7. I am an observer and have been following your blog. My heart goes out to all of you there. If the HOB is not of any help perhaps you could apply to the Court House for an injunction to stop BAV from even entering his own office and the Court to grant permission for all accounts to be audited not by just one independant auditor but two to avoid "buying over". If you want to know how many properties BAV or Mary Vun owns, it is very easy, if you know their full names and identity card nos. "UNITE WE STAND DIVIDE WE FALL" So please stay united to resolve this problematic BAV issue. You all are the CONQUERORS. FEAR GOD NOT MAN. AMEN.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Nothing is addressed and Nothing is resolved. everything come back to square one. This is how our christian authority and system works. What a laughing stock to our christian community and the world. The whole process is to find a way out for Bav without looking into the real issues of ADOS. They just simply care-less. What a shame to God and our christian brothers and sisters in Christ. Now we can put the E-court to rest and start thinking of other venues to track the culprits down. Well, Don't be discouraged and stay united in our struggle to fight for justice for our church.

    ReplyDelete
  9. A warning to all. Useless without E-Court as a pastoral letter is meaningless but…

To protect ourselves for further action, we need to lodge a Police Report against the Archbishop Datuk B. Lapok in term of the silence on corruption, frauds, irregularities, malpractices of AVCF since 2006 where anything of up to RM30m could have been ‘siphoned’ off illegally and sort of covered up by illegalities in ADOS including the latest crocodile tears and illegal Diocesan Synod 2012.

To do that, we need to meet under SAFE, properly organized with a protem NGO. [three working days to get it registered if all documents in order for protection]. Normal church gatherings are exempted from Society Act and Police Act.

You think AVCF is prepared to accept the said letter which has yet to turn up in the Official ADOS homepage.

Imagine, AVCF could report to the Police about the gathering of 130 parishioners on the protests and dialogue over the illegal ordination of P LO who had earlier violated Anglican tradition by performing baptism in Rangsit Anglican Outreach Center.

Imagine, AVCF could get the Police inside the church on 29 Aug, 2012 for the illegal ordination service.

Imagine, AVCF could get some queer characters to watch and follow me at the ILLEGAL Ground breaking ceremony on 24th July, 2012 when injunction served on AVCF on 23rd July, 2012.

Imagine AVCF and his gang via JY lodged a FALSE Police Report against me on 23rd July, 2012.

Imagine AVCF went to Valley of Blessing to discredit the 5 complainants soon after the socalled “RETREAT” at Changi in recent week.

Imagine, AVCF commenced legal action against me in May 2012 but failed and rejected by the court. AVCF also initiated legal action against my leading Counsel but again failed.

So there is no choice for me to lodge three Police Reports to protect myself against AVCF, the Standing Committee and the Synod 2012 especially in the third one. All these issues thereof would be taken care of in due course accordingly.

I cannot go in details here when my Court case is ongoing.

  10. Having waited for almost a year & with HBO sending AVCF for a fully paid one year honeymoon.
In the end the VICTOR is no other then AVCF. I am sure he has been laughing non stop for the last few days and his nights are very short and dawns are very long.
With over RM 10 millions ringgit unaccounted and yet rewarded with Sabbatical paid leave ???
We shall do it our way & lodge an official reports with The Director General of MACC & The IGP, Bukit Aman immediately to recover every single cent from these plunderers.
    Amen.

  11. In my own opinion,I think HOB does not want to take the responsibilities to deal with AV neither do they want to tell the members what to do.They used their soft approach on AV by reprimanding him gently hoping that he will repent but did he? When he came back from his HOB retreat in S'pore,he went to the interior to spread 'fire' again! We just cannot wait anymore,we have wasted so much time and many of the sheep are in pain and the HOB helps them to make the choice-leave- to find spiritual food elsewhere but not leave permanently .Please be assured, they will join in to fight but going to ASC for worship is not their cup of tea for the moment.

You can tell from the archbishop's letter that he still wants to give face to AV inspite of all his wrong doings such as-go on leave from Feb.next year 6-12 months, the reason why next year and not immediately? Still give him the power to choose a replacement for the time being when he goes on his long leave enjoying himself but still under his remote control. The archbishop has not sort the members' choice of replacement-one sided? This gives us the impression that the sheep are there only to follow whosoever is thrown at them!! Take it or leave it,right? The 2 ass.bishops that we have belong to AV's gang so how to choose? They have already shown their real colours for AV has 'bought' them over a long time ago.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I cannot help thinking why AV can get off with only a slap on the wrist? Do you know that if he is 'sacked' a lot of people will have to go with him? The Los,the 2 ass.bishops, his staff,YTC ,AV's wife and her schools and all his favoured pastors and priests, then where do they go? Their rice bowls will be broken, perhaps that is why archbishop let AV off so easily! Now that AV can stay, they are safe.Let's see what is their attitude tomorrow being Sunday,do they feel remorse, repentant or otherwise?. Will they announce tomorrow the verdict or keep quiet ? Archbishop said must all everyone of the members, see if they will do it!

  13. AV is having the time of his life with his wife in Brisbane. Now he can still plunder and siphon more money, fat bank account, properties in his name, deed useless ,expensive cars to choose which one to drive, can stay in Thailand for one year, already got diocese money in the bank as his deposit for his visa, stay in the high class condo under AVCF's name but using diocese money to buy without members knowing it for more than 3 years and when he is tired of staying there,he can come back to stay in KK in his mansion all paid for by the sheep and planning a 'holy war' against his sheep revealed to us by one dear pastor in the know.He can do all the planning within these few months till Feb.2013 .He can choose a replacement,of course he will choose his crony to do his job temporarily. No way he will choose one that goes the straight and narrow way! He is not that stupid, only the archbishop is fool enough to think that AV will follow through what he has signed .The HOB has plenty to learn about this guy, don't forget one day he will be the archbishop ,by then it will be too late.Don't say we have not warned you all! While he is going here and there as archbishop has not stipulated what AV will do during that 6-12 months only states sabbatical/study leave,it can be anything since it is so general. The archbishop also did not state who will pay for his roaming around ,he is still the bishop on leave, therefore he still enjoys his perks and salary, how lucrative it is.Haven't the HOB thought of all these? AV has the whole ADOS in his hands!

Better not give a single sen, better give the money to whosoever who leads us in our fight for justice so that we can get a lawyer to help us.

  14. WE will continue to rally behind those who take the lead in fighting for justice for ADOS . In my opinion,Whoever have a hand in any misappropriation and mismanagement of fund should be brought to court for judgement. The big fishes or small fishes should not be let off just that . They should be sacked or imprisoned for their wrongdoings. Can you imagine that when a CEO is caught in misappropriating or so called round tripping of fund in term of rm million and the company reward him or her 12months leave with full pay without stripping all the perk. At the end of the holiday, he is allow to come back to work as CEO. I think this kind of logic only workable in APSEA and ADOS. ONLY IN APSEA so to say. Rediculous as my friend said to me last night. I felt like a needle piercing through my heart. Terribly painful !!!
What can we do next, press for forensic auditing and swith off the water tape (which I think you all know what I mean in this context)irrespective of which parish you belong to ) Let do it together and start this week. Don't wait !!

  16. AV and his entourage in Brisbane and nobody dares call the shots in Sabah. I am sure AV has received the pastoral letter from archbishop but not putting it on his website because he has not delegated his authority to anyone while he is not in KK. Therefore those who has no access to internet will not know the outcome of the HOB until he comes back which will be after 1st October. You can tell from this whether he cares about the crisis or not.I hope HOB has taken note of this, that this man cannot be trusted, even if he has signed a promise of what he will do! I can guess while at the retreat in S'pore,AV must have hugged the 4 bishops and shed crocodile tears thus softening their hearts, that was why Archbishop Bolly described it 'gratefully and prayerfully' ---- He does not find it urgent to reform and he has no intention of reform. He has fooled the HOB but how long can he keep fooling? His mission trip is more important than the crisis and the court ruling on 24th Sept. Any repentant person would have cancelled the trip and concentrate how best to improve the church situation but not AV! What a joke, speak on evangelism when his sheep don't want him as their shepherd and want to take him to court for all the wrong doings he has done.

  18. Our archbishop Bolly is a very kind hearted, loving and forgiving man.He only looked on the good side of others but in AV there were no good sides and yet he could still find a tiny weeny good something in him, generous in giving maybe, but the money he offered I am sure belonged to the diocese without the members' knowledge,or maybe he was fooled by his Hollywood style of acting which the archbishop took it for repentance and AV once again outwitted him and the other bishops.I thought AV could not outfox them since they are the spiritual leaders of the highest level in APSEA but sorry to say how wrong we all are.No actions whatsoever is taken against AV but instead more incentives given and what about the sheep? We can see through AV and very obvious when he invited archbishop Bolly to come to celebrate the 50th Years Jubilee which infact he wanted him to be involved in launching of his ground breaking of RM 31 ringgit project which is against the wishes of the members. We prayed so hard for A.Bolly not to come but he did.We tried to find excuses for him, being the archbishop, what could he do,he kept a low profile but then AV had his pictures all over the place,in the newspapers as well,we suffered inside and started to doubt about the HOB's verdict. Some spiritual leaders reassured us that they are men of high spiritual standing, they would deliberate in depth taking all the charges into consideration and would come out with a fair decision,so once again our faith returned and waited ever so patiently. When the management letter written by the honorary auditor came out and we saw all the allegations about his mismanagement of funds, fraud,CBT etc revealed as true, how happy we all were and was sure that would be strong reasons for AV to leave but it was a shot right to our deepest most hearts when we read the archbishop's pastoral letter.I can tell you, some of us cried and lost appetite !!They said,'that is the end of my faith in the Anglican Church'

Now some of our staunched Anglicans have come out with a plan. They have to do something to restore their faith,if not,the church will be taken over by AV and his cronies and there is no difference from taking it away from APSEA.There is some light at end of the tunnel.

Since we have given respect to the HOB,it was not that we were not grateful,we were but deep down we feel we are cheated,we as sheep deserve better treatment than AV so to speak. It still has not stopped him from his plundering of the church money and he is still the bishop and still has the prerogative so where are the changes? A piece of signed paper means nothing to AV.Your lenient approach just does not work and we as sheep have to take the matter in our own hands to seek justice elsewhere.Talking about going to Christian Court but now looks like we have to seek a Civil Court to help us!

  19. Today's Sunday 7.30am English sermon by Rev. Lin Kee Vun was so
boring & can't understand what was he trying to said with his beating around the bush & merry go round sermon from 7.48am till 8.32am.
The only time my attention was drawn was when he mentioned that there are " two types of people " in this world & he would like to encourage his children to work full time & serve the church. Why ?
Quote " Two types of people ", ie,
    1/.Giving - ( ASC Parishioners ??? ).
    2/.Takers - ( AVCF & all Clergies ??? ).

  20. I wonder if the HOB read the blogs or not or are they influenced by AV that they are all lies, rumours etc.. The blogs are the best place to find out how the sheep feel about him and I was sure AV asked the archbishop to stop us from writing to the blogs and the archbishop listened to AV thinking everything is settled with AV signing the assent which no one knows what is inside, only the HOB and AV know.It should be made public for we have a right to know what is inside so that we can keep track on AV to see if he keeps them but looks like it is only a piece of paper with no value once he left S'pore!

Did the archbishop know that the moment he touched down from the plane,he headed to Telupid as reported in the blog to attend the BM conference and started firing his lethal remarks against the 5 complainants and created disunity among the clergies and sheep,he said a 'holy war' is about to start? Did he show any healing, remorse etc? Now that we know where we stand,we cannot rely on anyone but ourselves to put ADOS in order.Blogmaster, you choose the best talented and knowledgeable people, and everybody will now start praying without failed wherever we are and we will support you financially.Just let us know how to bank into the account. This is a worthy cause, rather than to give money to the church for others to spend, going on mission trips getting big love gifts, etc, better give to our leaders to help us to fight for justice!

  21. The motion is as follows:-

In view of the illegal AGM 2012 of All Saints Cathedral and the Archbishop’s pastoral letter dated Sixteen Sunday after Pentecostal to the Diocese of Sabah and in reference item 4 of the steps to Promote Good Governance – the distinct governance, roles and decisions making processes of the Diocese of Sabah and All Saints’ Cathedral, Kota Kinabalu will have to be clarified and observed.

We want the following to be done
    1. A new Dean acceptable to the ASC.
    2. A restitution of all funds as abused.
    3. A financial procedure to be in place.
    4. The signatories be declared to the church
    5. The Electoral list to be verified.

  22. From the photos taken,I saw only sad and disappointed faces,it shows how hurt they are.If the HOB could find time to have a retreat with AV why weren't the 5 complainants representing the members also be given the chance to meet with them? Did the HOB allow AV to bargain his verdict?

Has AV shown any signs of remorse? NONE whatsoever! Only archbishop really believes all his tales and what was it that he signed as archbishop said AV signed it with gratefulness of heart and prayerfully!! Is it so secret that it cannot be revealed to members, only between him and the HOB? Looks like we are not in a family, there are certain things kept apart from the sheep.

Archbishop told us not to write untruths to the blogs but are they untruths? AV must have told him that the members spread LIES about him and even what was written in the management letter confirming all the truths and yet they refused to believe them as truths.

Seems like what AV said are truths even though they are lies and what the members said are LIES even though they are truths. How sad,our leaders cannot discern properly! AV can sure outfox, out wit anyone but can he do that to the judge, let's wait and see what is going to happen today.JK our prayers are with you!

  23. I was shocked to hear that AV tried to 'buy' over the archbishop, our highest Anglican spiritual Leader. If he dared to do that ,he can try to buy everyone that stands in his way! He has bought over the 2 ass. bishops, those in his office and some of his cronies in the church, pastors and priests.

How could they go against him since they have accepted bribes from AV? Yet our archbishop is still lenient to him knowing what sort of person he is.I hope A.Bolly will grant us a meeting as soon as possible before AV comes back from Brisbane and starts something 'funny'.He may use his power to stop us!!

  24. PRESS RELEASE by Plaintiff Joshua Y. C. Kong Vs Bishop of Sabah

The defendants writing in his message “I will defend myself and my office as the Bishop of Sabah. And to help our Diocese to know that we have done everything above board, time will be given in this Synod to go through all our land and property transactions so we can answer any queries and hopefully clear all these for all our Synod delegates.” Source – 27th Diocesan SYNOD, Diocese of Sabah held at All Saints’ Cathedral, 30th August – 1stSeptember, 2012.
Yet since the case emerged on 23rd July, 2012, the Defendant had relied on the Locus Standi of the Plaintiff under the Government Proceeding Act 1956 and the power to remove the Bishop to avoid going into the wrongdoings as alleged committed by the defendants since 2006. If every thing was done above board, why fear a proper trial in the Civil Court on the merits? There are no other way to clear those very serious alleged crimes except by the Civil courts.
What the Judge did was a technical item by setting aside the ex parte Court Order of 18th July, 2012.
The public especially the Anglicans of Sabah would like to know what the Bishop wants to tell them through the Courts.
The Counsel of the Plaintiff would not appeal on the ruling of the Judge but instead would refile the case to go on the merits
The Merits of the case is very important and needs to be addressed accordingly.
Daily express published a report titled “Bishop under Probe” 17 July, 2012. The probe ended with the decision that Bishop goes on a Sabbatical/study leave of 6-12 month from February, 2013 and engage a spiritual director to guide him.
The plaintiff would like to thank the Counsel Mr Rakhbir Singh and the Honorable Judge Tuan Lee Heng Cheong for the ruling.

Standing Committee Assures Parishioners on Management Letter

    Dear Parishioners,

The Honorary Auditor in his auditor’s report dated 29 Aug 2012 presented to the Diocesan Synod, which met on 30 Aug-1 Sept 2012, mentioned a Management Letter (“ML”). This ML was addressed to the Bishop of Sabah and the Standing Committee (“SC”) members.

The ML was received by the Diocesan office on 29 Aug 2012, i.e., on the eve of the Synod, when in the same evening the SC was to be dissolved, to pave way for the election of new SC members in the Synod. As a result, the immediate past Honorary Treasurer and the SC did not have adequate time and opportunity to officially address the issues raised and the reservations expressed through the audit qualification.

It has come to the SC’s attention that various forms of negative interpretations and insinuations had been made in certain blog concerning the contents of the ML in respect of the Diocesan Financial Statements for 2010 and 2011. Extracts of the accounts were also posted and uninformed conclusions were being drawn thereof insinuating possibilities of impropriety in the financial management.

The SC wishes to assure all parishioners that since the Diocesan Synod, the new Honorary Treasurer and the SC have begun the process of drafting a comprehensive reply to the audit queries and issues raised by the Honorary Auditor. In fact, our new Honorary Treasurer is currently in the final stage of addressing the accounting issues raised. The other legal and constitutional issues are also being looked into by the Chancellor and Honorary Secretary.

The SC calls on all church members who may be alarmed by the negative interpretations and insinuations, to remain calm and be patient. The SC is eager to clarify and settle all the issues raised, including rectification of shortcomings if any, raised by the Honorary Auditor, at the earliest opportunity by compiling answers as comprehensive as possible to the ML so that our Church can move on with the Diocese’s agenda for mission.

We are grateful for the genuine concern shown by our church members. It shows your great love for our church.

    Thank You.

    Yours truly in Christ,

For and on behalf of the Standing Committee of The Diocese Of Sabah

    PAUL LIEW

    Hon. Secretary

  26. Our Hon. Secretary , Mr, Paul Liew, We are not alarmed by the negative interpretation and insinuation but by the questionable account. We don't know how you can rectify and reconcile the figure with your magic touch, I hope you all will pray to God for guidance in dealing with the shocking management letter . I hope as well that you and Michael Tong are both sincere and honest to the parishioners and most importantly to God. Mind you ,God loves honest people and hates those who are deceitful to especially His family.

  27. Is the new treasurer going to redo the accounts again? If the former treasurer could not put it right what makes the new one can unless he create figures to balance them. What I did not understand,if the Synod was not given time to study the auditor's report because it was sent up late ,why did AV want it to be passed the same day?I heard Moses Chin objected it.Why did Paul Chong not say at that time he received the report late but when queried why they were not given each a copy,he answered the SC had, that was what I heard. The Synod at that time did not know anything which was supposed to know until a sister asked for a copy and PC only gave it to her.Our blogmaster was given bits and pieces of news until one kind soul gave it to him to publish on the blog for all to see. Why was it not discussed right in the Synod so that everyone present could hear the explanations of AV and the former treasurer. The honorary auditor was not invited to attend so that he could defend himself and answer queries, why?A forensic audit is the way to go. I hope the honorary auditor will come out to say something, looks like the blame is put on you.If you do not tell the truth ,the blame will be pushed to you like what AV does all the time.To put it bluntly, they have underestimated the sheep. They never would believe the sheep would dare rise up without any fear against a person be that person a bishop and now an archbishop. We support the group going over to seek A.Bolly to tell him face to face about the displeasure of the sheep that injustice is not done to them. If the sheep have not raised any protests regarding the ML report,I am sure life goes on merrily with their spending and buying etc..

Who can tell me one Anglican church that is acceptable, not under AV's thumb?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Paul Liew,I regret to say,I don't 'buy' your explanation. We are not stupid to accept anything thrown at us.From what AV's response letter to the auditor's letter tells all.He did not address to any of his queries ,and auditor did telephone PC up,not sure what was transpired between them.WT has been writing to the Chancellor and up till never has got an answer from him regarding the purchase of the Tenon shop house asking him why there are 3 prices! Chancellor knew the answer alright,no need to look at the legal aspects etc,etc but he is not telling. When people ask something they have already got the facts and want it to be confirmed to see if it is the truth. They do not accuse wildly unless you do not give the answers.

Perhaps the honorary auditor should come out to tell the truth since all the blame is pushed to you. That is what AV teaches them, when something go wrong, push it to the next person.

Forensic audit is the way to go to get an independent report.

Where do we get an Anglican church that is acceptable and not preach AV's doctrine and the preacher is not brain washed by him? If one can tell us then we can go to worship there.

    1. Mr. Paul Liew, we are only happy to see the simple and true answer not that of the redo and comprehensive one.just tell us whether there are anyone one who have ever tampered or fiddled with the account. Also help us to find out the culprit who have swindled, misappropriated and mismanaged God's money if there is any. If you are honest, God's people will stand beside you.

  29. Open letter in response to the Pastoral Letter to the Diocese of Sabah.

It troubles me greatly that I feel impelled to take issue openly with our Archbishop The Most Revd. Bolly Lapok, but this Pastoral Letter will just not do and I feel I must comment on the three sections.

    Steps to Promote Good Governance.

The four steps may address the problems that have arisen, but only if all those involved are willing and honourable people, including the incumbent Bishop, and to avoid any future misunderstanding and to satisfy the needs of the Anglican community it must be absolutely unambiguous as to who will make the final decisions about how the processes are to be clarified.

A Time for Healing and Restoration

The proposal that Bishop Datuk Albert Vun should take sabbatical/study leave shows clearly that The House of Bishops believes that at the present time at least he is not suited to the position of Bishop of Sabah, and yet it is proposed that he remain in that position for a further five months. This is an untenable situation and it is evident that he should start his leave at once.

The idea that Bishop Datuk Albert Vun should appoint a Bishop’s Commissary is also just not acceptable, and any appointment needs to be made by the Archbishop and to be someone unconnected with the present administration in Sabah.

The suggestion that blog entries and anonymous emails should cease is unacceptable so long as the present unsatisfactory situation still exists and it is not reasonable to try to deny people their expression of frustration which technology now allows them to do in the security of anonymity.

    Conclusion.

The assurance by the person who has been accused that queries and comments will be attended to is totally unacceptable. Only an independent audit can deal with this.

One further observation is that if there is indeed truth in allegations that have been made, a gap of five months would allow for a covering up of the accounts to take place, followed it would seem by 6 to 12 months of penitence for having done so. To allow such a possibility is plainly not acceptable.

I wish most fervently that I did not feel obliged to write this response but the Pastoral Letter does not solve the problem and in some ways makes it worse as there still seems to be little hope that a final resolution may be in sight.

The Anglican community will not be happy so long as any of the points raised remain unaddressed.

  31. Not only from the points highlighted in the Management Letter by the Auditor, there are many questions arose from the financial statements presented to the Synod.

It is the duty of the standing committee to report the financial statements to the Synod and it is the treasurer’s duty to present the accounts according to the correct Accounting Principles that it is presented in a generally accepted manner so that everyone understands and expects to read.

We cannot accept the standing committee / the treasurer to apply rules of AV from the jungle to buy fixed assets like spending any other type of expenses yet not shown in the balance sheet. Let alone using DOS money to buy without approval of the standing com/ Synod is another crime!

We do not expect to read non consistencies in the DOS accounting treatment. What made certain purchases disclosed as fixed assets and certain not? On that ground alone, the accounts already subject to the criteria of qualification from the auditor. The auditor was kind enough, he did not!

Irregularities of non-disclosure of the income from fixed deposits and rental were not picked up from the Auditor in his management letter but by us, readers of the accounts.

Whether the management letter was issued late or early by the Auditor, these sorts of issues should never been expected nor occurred in the accounts of DOS. Simple answer to this question, if letter from the auditor was given early, there will be enough time for window dressing for certain transactions. Above all, a transaction happened is a transaction happened. We cannot magic the figures to go missing unless more magic is performed. Time factor is not an excuse.

Reminder: It is never the auditor’s duty to produce the financial statements. His duty is only to verify whatever that has been done in the financial statements. Therefore, the treasurer’s defence in the Synod to blame the auditor’s fault is never an acceptable excuse at all. Synod members should ask why was the auditor not invited to the Synod to explain for himself, if the treasurer felt the auditor was at fault?

Professionalism and integrity lie very much with a person’s own character disregard whether you are doing the work honorary or not.

How could Michael Tong, another accountant in the standing committee did not question all these irregularities in the financial statements? He had many more chance in the standing committee to read the accounts than the Synod delegates. Now he is trying to be the hero to solve all these practice of the jungles until people ask?

AV and the treasurer knew about the Management Letter at the last standing committee meeting. Other stand committee have been victimised that it came to them late. We understand the manipulations, we only hold 2 persons not honest to the standing committee and the Synod none other than AV and the treasurer Paul Chong.

I pity the treasurer, what has he gained out of helping AV? AV had conveniently put all the blame to him. Now, AV has exhausted his abuse, another puppet is up there to keep the show going.

    ReplyDelete
  32. What is the big deal whether received the auditor's report late or early?.Like one blogger said, keeping financial statement in order is not the auditor's job. This is the treasurer's job .It was done and passed up and the auditor just audited the accounts. Now they do not like what the auditor said about their accounts and want to rectify it-can it be allowed?Paul Chong was given lots of time in the church office doing up the accounts as seen by people. The figures are there how to move them around to give a clean picture?

My friends non Anglicans said after reading the DE,COURT ALLOWS OBJECTION RAISED BY BISHOP,they were shocked to learn why so much power given to one person and only the person who is the archbishop who appointed him has the sole power to remove him which he is not doing it only gives him an option of going on leave with pay from 6 months to a year. What sort of constitution your church has and so one sided, they asked? What about the other part which all of you complain about, fraud,CBT,corruptions, now heard that they are redoing the accounts again, put the blame on the auditor for giving them a last minute report which I am sure not true.Whether late or early makes no difference, redoing, rectifying, don't they know it is very wrong! Something must be done,it does not mean that he is a bishop he can get away with everything and looks like he has some 'power' over your archbishop! If you people don't stand up for justice I bet your church will forever be run by a gang of corrupt people. Are you sure only your bishop is in the wrong and no other members in cahoot with him? What can I say, they did knock me to my senses. I told them our faithful leaders appose all the wrong doings and are behind the scene doing planing out their next course of actions but first they have to meet with the archbishop to make known their actions.Better be quick ,they said, your bishop is a cunning man from what we read from the blogs, that is why he wanted the archbishop to 'shut' you all up by shutting your blogs and my goodness, your archbishop did as he was told! All our prayers go with the group who will meet with the archbishop.I hope he will grant them his audience.

    1. The profiles given by the AV team to Bardon Brisbane were:
working with children & youth, praise and worship leading, cell group ministry, and prayer and intercession.

Let’s see if people went with him qualifies the criteria.
Only Pastor Margaret qualifies working with children.

Cell group ministry. Cell group leaders are Cynthia & Margaret only. Margaret is only a few months old cell leader. What can she share? Not that her group has fabulous multiplication. Worst of all, Mary Vun was a cell leader before but her cell group closed down because of her heart was committed to long holidays traveling with AV all the time.

Ministry & Mission, AV can only give false teaching to share his experience in mission happen ONLY in big cities. He has never considered going to places that are small, remote and rural despite these geographical area are under his coverage as the Bishop of Sabah. Where is his heart for mission? God or pleasure with paid holiday?

Prayer & intercessions. None of these people are prayer intercessors of the church. Why didn't they bring some of the senior ladies in the intercessory team who are more qualified to go sharing their experience?

It is so clear that a paid holiday trip for AV to win the hearts of these people of his inner circle for their efforts to support him & their continuous loyalty.

AV does not like people asking these questions because we exposed him. If he is not the culprit to all problems, why is there so fearful for people to ask?

Next month trip to Johannesburg with another group- working holiday? Have we seen any change in him in conduct etc.. We doubt it. Anyway HOB according to Senior Anglican pastor,is giving him a trial period so to speak,to watch his moves and so we too also do the same and keep watching patiently like' wanting to kill a 'babi hutan' as the much loved pastor said.

Many of us wonder ,why AV has already started thinking of a second home when he still has many more years to serve (that is if not kicked out yet)and the place that he has chosen is Thailand. It went as far back as 2009 before the outreach in Rangsit was started. This condo was not treated as an asset according to the ML.Isn't this cheating, buying an asset for himself using the church's money, putting his name on it,getting a visa, putting the church' money in his account as a deposit for the visa? He did not let anybody know about it,meaning to keep it for himself until the investigating came, then he only went to do a deed only this year 2012 but the deed is a hopeless one not recognised in Thailand!Nobody will say anything if he used his own money. How is the church going to claim it back,I wonder. Many have said,do not waste anymore time, get down to task!

Go to the court to get a court injunction against the sheep for defamations! In this way no one dares to say anything bad about him,why he isn't he doing that? The Sabah Anglican Church website is out of date.It posted stale news on August 5th until now, why? He is stressing a point, the news is so important that deserves to be there for so long? Where is the archbishop's letter supposed to let all members read it? Either AV has told his ma zia's not to change or his ma zias trying to 'angkat kaki' him.

When WT asked AV did he instruct police to be in church and around the church compound on the night PLo was ordained,he told WT that it was YTC's and the wardens' job to see to the security of the church, pushing it to the rector and wardens, not surprising. 49. Can you all see what sort of a person AV is? He let the mess created by him in the church for others to deal with them-pushing it to the rector who now controls the running of the church he said, as if we do not know the rector is controlled by him using remote control!! He pushed the blame to the chancellor,PCC and SC,always guided by them especially the chancellor as if we do not know he did things without them knowing and asked them to rubber stamp his plans or when there was voting, all his cronies outnumbered the few honest ones. Now the accounts is in a big mess and the blame was put onto the poor auditor for sending back the report back!!! The new treasurer is now doing over time to perform some magic to the messy accounts ,trying to fill in missing figures and to make the accounts presentable to be reaudited again but someone else to do it! Does it mean the honorary auditor is not trustworthy and not qualified to do it? This is very insulting!!
Where is AV now? Does he care what is happening in the church? Has he started what he has promised archbishop that he would do? We do not know what is signed between him and HOB but we can guess what it is. I bet he and his wife will be flying back in business class again, does he care about spending the members' money? Looks like he does not care one bit and why should members give when their money goes to the bishop's expensive life style. Maybe we should go up to the bishop's house while he is still not in KK to look inside his palace and took some photos!

We believe, the most appropriate candidate should be our beloved Bishop Yong Chen Fah and it will be much cheaper to fly Bishop YCF to KK rather then having to fly Cannon Kavoor from United Kingdom.
Alternatively, Archdeacon Mosses Chin can also be the Spiritual Director.

Albert Vun needs someone to coach and teach him how to be a pastor instead of a CEO. 3. We all love AV as a brother in christ but we do not love his 'works' What he is doing is definitely going the wrong path.He being the bishop is too proud to be told by his sheep that he is heading to hell and that is why the sheep stop to follow him.Don't we want to tell our bishop that if he keeps going the way he is going will not be followed by us? It is the sheep calling him to come back, return to the right path but does he listen?

George Kovoor is AV's good friend and he had visited our church several times. He was seen at the ADOS Jubilee celebration and AV invited him and a few big shots to come, wondering how much was spent on the celebration. He was 'present' at the Synod! If he is chosen, all the members will be able to see him in person!

If George Kovoor is chosen by AV how nice it would be for the two of them to go round travelling together at the expense of the church. We do not know what sort of agreement the HOB and AV signed,if his spending is not curbed, then instead of improving the situation of the crisis ,it will be even worse,no preaching in Sabah from 6-12 months but he can go preaching overseas like he was doing in Brisbane (getting love gifts) and incurring huge spending again members have to bear and in the end still not sure AV will totally be a changed man! That is why we all agree to have him removed,he cannot have the best of both worlds.

Do you want a maid who stole your things while working for you to go on long leave to reflect on what she had done and then came back to work for you?

Even if AV comes back his relationship with the members will never be the same. There is still that mistrust, why not forget the whole matter, get a new bishop and both start a fresh but whatever mess he has created will be dealt with starting from the accounts. That cannot be swept aside.

A lady friend used this example. If a husband strays, then he comes back begging his wife to forgive him, even when the wife does forgive him, there will always be that mistrust and suspicious of what he does, where he goes keeping track on him, that is not good a marriage should be,the mirror is already cracked,if put back, the cracked line is still there. Our relationship with AV will be like that when he comes back from his reflection. We must have complete trust in our bishop as well as our priests in order to be in one God loving family.

  52. My overseas friends came back, went to church and saw a great difference, why the church is so empty.I told them our crisis and told them to read the blogs. They said if this thing happens in Australia and if there are strong evidences that the bishop is definitely guilty,he would have been sacked! Why is he still around and the HOB is so lenient to him, give him long leave etc..to repent! He is already a set back for the Anglican communion .He can repent but cannot let him hang on to the post.

  53. AV can still have a spiritual counsellor if he is removed! He can have whoseover he likes after he has left the church because he will have to pay for that person with his own money.I see no difference being counselled while still as a bishop even though on leave will make him a better person than when he is no more the bishop! It will not be the same, the problems will not just disappear.

They used the members' money to buy properties and members are not even allowed to find out the details, what kind of administration are we having in church? The members don't even know how many properties and money the church has for they are not supposed to be told according to AV,once their money is in his hands,he has the prerogative to spend it how he sees fit! The members' duties are to keep giving,he to keep spending and the misinterpreted message is the more you give, the more will God bless you.Don't ask where your money goes to,it is no more yours! Well, now the members stop giving and give to somewhere else.at least they know that their money is used for a good cause. The way our church is run,as if we as members all owe AV and his cronies a living!!. The spiritual leaders shouted down from the pulpit cursing for the low offerings with no shame! How to give when the members could not even voice their objections and even called for police to come to the church to arrest anyone who objected for the ordination of Plo.YTC,your boss pushed his responsibilities to you, that you and the warden are in charge of securities of the church! Did you need to be so harsh to a group of sheep who were fighting for God? You simply have lost all credibility, your have lost your soul if what your boss said of you was true!

A lot of members are not going to church nor want to receive holy communion from defiled hands! Sermons also a farce, saying one thing, doing another thing, all outside show but inside hollow like anything. When I read the church bulletin,I do not find anything refreshing, peace or joy, just thinking, when will our church be like the one we knew, when will get a new bishop with a new team with a transparent mind and accountable of what they do making every member a part of the Sabah Anglican family with no factions and divisions. All because of one man and now spread to more men that our church is now in the hands of a team of very materialistic so called priests and leaders, all the worldly ones. Where are the ones that serve, they all want to be served,to be obeyed to regard them as Masters instead of the other way round, the doctrines that Jesus taught us is all forgotten.

  58. Our brother SF knows a lot of things that concern AV but he tends to cover up for him.He should be neutral and give advice to both sides but it is very obvious,he isn't revealing anything. The bishop has already said the PCC,SC,his priests, pastors and the chancellor will be able to address to any questions asked by the members but seems to me either they do not know ,cannot answer them or not sure if AV will like it if they tell the truth.AV is just pushing everything to them which in actual fact some of the pastors too are like us,wanting to know but dare not ask.Now WT asked SF a question and he said unless the concerned parties which involve him also give permission to the lawyer's office in Keningau to reveal informations to WT,he isn't going to get it from the lawyer.Doesn't the church also have a file on the sale of the Tenom shoplot? If it doesn't,why? Why is it so confidential that it cannot be revealed to the members? Don't they have a right to know? WT asked if there were 3 sales and purchase agreements since there were 3 sets of prices-just answer yes or no! SF did not even answer that question so maybe we presume the answer is YES.

WT also asked AV about the properties in Thailand and his 'migrating'to Thailand using church money as a deposit for his visa-who is going to answer those questions,AV or someone else? We would like to know what sort of excuses AV is going to give. The problem with the church is that the members have to dig, dig, dig to find out what properties the church have bought, this should not be the case and must be stopped! Being a bishop having the prerogative to do things as he likes does not mean he must keep everything secret and not transparent. We cannot help thinking, those in the know don't want to reveal to us means they are also in it in some ways even though they may not actually be 'stealing'.You may be forced to conform to what AV has already decided but at least let us know.Don't keep quiet! Your name is at stake!Who gave the bishop the power to withdraw large sums of money to buy the condo in Thailand, and RM85000 to be put into his Thailand account? If the treasurer was in the know why did he not reveal it to the SC during meetings? I heard that in the past ,the treasurer was very powerful and would object to big spending and very outspoken. What happened now?

  60. I am a simple minded person but I know if I buy a landed property all correspondence between developer or seller, lawyer and buyer all have sets of files with the buyer and one for themselves each. The buyer has all the original documents, letters etc..The buyer cannot say go to so and so to look for informations of my details, but I have to give permission to the relevant firm first before you can get hold of the information whereas the buyer has all the files of all of the relevant people that he is dealing with! Therefore the church is the best place to go to to look for all these and how to get hold of all these-simple get another court injunction to force them to give. What a joke, sheep has to get court order from a pagan court? to get to know your own church properties!! There is really something in this deal and many also that we as members are not supposed to be told and ought not to find out!Wondering why the church let this lawyer firm to deal with the transaction .

    1. If we know there are cheatings etc going on now in the ADOS, what do we want to do now.

We cannot get the details in ADOS, as we have seen what have happened in the last Diocesan Synod 2012, and despite the exposed management letter, some people are still hiding the ill gotten gains. We have seen how the Diocesan secretary had issued a letter on the Audit and the Management letter and today is 4th October, more than a month after the Synod 2012, there is still nothing to see on the queries raised by others outside the SYNOD 2012.

      So what do you expect?

We need to go to the Civil court for true JUSTICE as E-Court is not forthcoming. What is wrong if it a pagan court when it is secular matters mishandled?

Nobody is above the law of the land and God allows such authorities to to deal with the offenders.

I also heard the ADOS has been going to lodge many Police Reports.

    2. A church lodging Police Reports against the sheep? Incredible!
A bishop is asked to go and get a spiritual counsellor by the HOB and to go on sabbatical leave with pay whereas the sheep get Police Reports?Oh my goodness, what has become of our church? JK,I hope what you said is not true!

  61. Whatever sabbatical or not,Av is living his life lavishly. He touched down on Sunday from Brisbane, left again on Monday to hong kong until 8th. Obviously he is enjoying his tour & holiday as much as possible because his days r numbered in the Lord.

Does he care & love his sheep? Never? He is just concerned about his own gain & enjoyment. Worse of all, Mary Vun is also travelling with him. Mind you, Mary Vun is drawing executive salaries decided by herself & she signs all the cheques to pay her own salaries. Most of all you get 3 weeks annual leave under any employment but She has been to Ireland for 3 weeks, Brisbane for 2 weeks, now Hong Kong for 1 week.

If priests' wife are not suppose to work but to support her husbands' ministries why is Mary Vun drawing executive salaries at her own discretion?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Does the HOB care about the Sabah sheep or not? Archbishop Bolly told us he was going to settle this crisis once and for all but it looks like it is not an urgent matter after meeting with AV. Look at his expensive ways travelling with his wife, even more regular,at business class? Did the agreement that he sign with the HOB allows him to do as much travelling as possible within these few months before he goes on sabbatical leave? He does not need to let anyone know where he is heading to? Is AV challenging us to do something?

Does he and the HOB care that the Anglican churches are splitting up everywhere in Sabah? The interior Anglicans are also going to some other churches because the head is wandering all over the world and the one who is acting cannot deal with the huge problems. Michael Tong will never be able to keep up with the accounts the way the bishop is spending the money! We read in the blogs that the treasurer is about to final everything and up till now we are still waiting!

"A forensic audit on the diocesan accounts, all the church accounts and all the projects under AV will be the only way to nab the culprits. Anything less will not bring closure to this sad episode of ADOS."

The forensic audit is too costly and can be unreliable if the audit firm is linked to this group 'fm', forensic audit is incapable to do much if most records are missing or badly manipulated.

Is there a logic to this? No plans have been worked out how to get the sheep back.Infact, the little shepherds dare not do anything for fear of causing anger to their big shepherd who of late has been travelling with his wife as if there is no tomorrow! He is not on sabbatical leave yet!!!! Perhaps the HOB should take note of this, where is the healing and the restoration?

  65. Why Ireland ? No mission there. The country is predominantly Roman Catholic.

Because it is where one can gain access to the Isle of Man ? A corporate tax free zone ? A safe place to park one's money ? A place to have a trust company devoid of account holders' names ?

    Hmmmm......one wonders.

It seems that we are like playing a football game. The members are being kicked from one person to another. When the members strongly protested PLo for being ordained a priest, the wife passed the matter to AV.Ask the bishop, she said to the members.Ask him why he was chosen although PLo himself said he did not have the calling. Now WT asked AV about the condo in Thailand and his visa,he kicked WT to PLo,ask him! Any other matters, ask the chancellor,SC or PCC,Rector AV said. Why all of a sudden,he has no power, didn't he say he had the prerogative to do this or that, that he had the last say? Is he still the bishop?Looks like he still is because he still has the power to spend the church money! So sad to see a bishop pushing his responsibilities to others to answer for him.Did he not say he was better than most professionals?

    Remember this --

AVCF is the 'madman' now as he said it in church in 2006 that he did not like long haul air travel, but now he has been travelling globewise without any sanction from the Archbishop and the ADOS spending church money as he likes.

So the Holy War by AVCF has started.
The Court Case would be refiled and AVCF had not won anything.

Only the technicalities was the temporary set back.
The merits of the case is in the favour of the church in general and against AVCF and we need to nail AVCF and his gang.

Let the petition goes on..with massive signatures and maybe extend another week.

Ronny cham has filed a defence unusual for such a case as this to admit defeat when
AVCF dares not come to Court to face the TRUTH.

AVCF is hiding under some technicalities..nothing more than that.

  69. Diocesan Bulletin - Issue No. 39 Oct 2012
    Message from the Bishop
The Rt Rev Datuk Albert Vun
For almost a year now, there are people claiming to be concerned Anglicans who anonymously post all kind of things on the Internet. All the things they have posted are factually untrue and destructive. They challenged us to answer this and that and when we did not, they claimed that what they alleged were true. I decided not to discuss our church matters on the Internet with people who do not take responsibility for what they post, who dare not put their names behinds their words, but to bring all things before the Lord in prayer. I was learning from Moses to bring the complaints before the Lord. We have invited them to meet with us – to see how we can solve whatever the problems were – but they did not. They could meet with our Standing Committee but they did not. Even when we tried to explain some of their

Allegations in issuing pastoral letters and in the open session in our recent Synod, our attempts were twisted and ridiculed. The House of Bishops had issued some recommendations through a pastoral letter from the Archbishop, I have decided to submit to the recommendations.
The way to resolve conflict is not through signing petitions, stirring up dissent or spreading words that we hear from others. So much time and energy have been stolen from us

    [Extracts from the message]
The real position is as follows:-
    1. The problem was brewing since AVCF assume Bishop in 2006, first with the replacement of the staff at the diocese and ASC.
    2. What are posted although anonymous are largely true according to an online survey.
    3. What had been posted about the acting Dean and All Saints’ Cathedral were confirmed true in the ASC AGM 2012. As a result of that, I had prepared a long list of items which had been part of my Statement of Claims in the High Court case. AVCF just refused to answer them one by one, except come up with a dubious Defence on 27th September, 2012 with a guilty denial.
    4. Most were anonymous, but a few were not including myself and Mr. William Thien. I had written to the AVCF with AR Register letters, emails, faxes, but none of them acknowledged by AVCF and his gang. Too true for AVCF to deny in writing.
    5. What a BIG lie “. We have invited them to meet with us – to see how we can solve whatever the problems were – but they did not. “.
    6. What another BIG lie “. They could meet with our Standing Committee but they did not.”
    7. What another BIG lie “Even when we tried to explain some of their allegations in issuing pastoral letters and in the open session in our recent Synod, our attempts were twisted and ridiculed. “ Where is the OPEN session in the ILLEGAL Synod?
    8. Where is the letter of the Archbishop signed by AVCF?
    9. Another BIG lie “, I have decided to submit to the recommendations.” And so far nothing implemented in the separation of power of ASC and the Diocese of Sabah. (still onemanshow)
    10. I spoke so much at the ASC AGM 2012 including calling AVCF as ‘one-man-show’ which was considered by the illegal Chairman aka illegal Rector as ‘defamatory’, yet it was accepted by AVCF.

So AVCF, why you left out the Civil Case of mine against you in the above message? Scared of the TRUTH I have shown you in the very bulky Court Documents.

My advice to you AVCF is to resign and face me in the Court for the merits of my case.

  70. I find AV's reply to WT difficult to believe. It was a made up story, and after thought because of a lot of questioning by the members and I am sure WT does not accept the answer .First you do not need to test the immigration, you just go to the office and get answers from the officers how to get visas. They would tell you straight away of what was to be done. You do not put the Thailand immigration to tests!!!Why must one go there for a year or two starting with the bishop? If another replaces the bishop, does it mean another RM85000 to be banked in as deposit for that person's visa? He can easily send one there for short term. How come the other 2 ladies can stay there for so long? They do not find difficulties in staying there? Do they need to put in large sums of money in their bank accounts to get visas? AV can go there any time he likes as Malaysians don't need a Thai visa .AV is bishop of Sabah, why the need to go to Thailand when there are so many churches that need to be planted in our backyard! There are many Anglican churches already planted in Thailand long before Outreach Rangsit and they are being controlled by S'pore Anglican Diocese, why should Sabah diocese go to interfere with others already doing a good job of it.Now members are confused, how come this particular church is run by ADOS and has no dealings with the S'pore diocese, aren't they both Anglicans? Is it ADOS can do a better job than S'pore. Furthermore,Outreach Rangsit was not bought before the condo. The 2 ladies looking after the church are not staying in the condo but in the center,I presume. The condo is also faraway from the center. Nobody knew that there is a condo or is it two in Thailand if not for the auditor's question, now he puts the blame on the auditor-auditor did not ask ,AV said.He also did not answer about the other condo-bought and paid by Tawau parishioners during the time when AV ministered there. It was brought to our notice that the condo was bought many years ago.Why did you not apply for the second home visa during that time then? What happened to it and where did the money go to? I suppose it was also in his name. When you buy a property in a foreign land, the first thing one does is to find out that country procedures how to do the transactions according to the law of that country.Did AV consult the SC first before buying the second condo and told them that it would in his name because that country 's law is different from ours? He should know because of the first condo that he bought when he was in Tawau. He could not say he did not know the procedure. Where are the minutes of the meetings? No point telling us that all your documents are filed in the office, show us the documents, the minutes of SC meetings regarding buying the condo etc... SC agreed with the RM 85000 to be used as a deposit to your visa? The chancellor said, could not be shown without permission when WT asked him for details regarding the Tenom shoplots. Dr.James should know if there were meetings and how come nobody knew until the management letter came out? Did you pay back the RM85000? It was still shown in the accounts as deposit of your visa! Who drew out so much money from the church account? After buying the condo,it was not treated as a church asset! The treasurer is a professional, don't tell me he did not know how to do the accounts,if not why chose him? Now the blame game is put to the treasurer at that time and the current auditor.Have you all noticed never once did AV say he was in the wrong, except the few drops or was it buckets that fell during the Synod meeting? Now it is back to accusing the members for telling lies.At least the members have tons of evidences but where are his?Doing a deed 3 years later when the investigating team came-I heard the story that when the condo was bought they did not know that a deed should be done,'kei won siew mei' after 3 years?? Where were the clever lawyers of our church? Did they not give him any advice unless they did not know but chancellor should know?

  71. AV gratefully and graciously accepted the signing of the agreement between him and HOB.Why was he so grateful to the HOB? For not sacking him? What choice had he got if he refused to sign? We are very curious to know what is inside the agreement and more so what were the charges found to be true of AV by the PAC! Has AV treated his sheep like a family, that problems should be solved within the family like he said? Up till now the crisis is still not solved even with the intervention of the HOB.Found guilty, still let him go off easy while those who protested were asked to stop the blogs,do not read the blogs etc..Where is the fairness? HOB has favouritism,so sad,AV was called to have a retreat with HOB but did they call the 5 complainants as well? They were made to promise to keep their mouths shut inspite of the fact that charges made by them were true by PAC!!!!!How to solve the problems? AV said, look,I have complied to all the HOB's terms by gratefully and graciously signing the agreement but only in theory ,the court ruled in my favour-he did not win anything,I am still the bishop ,I have even humbled myself a bit by answering some of your questions which I don't normally do,go see my chancellor,PLo,YTC,PCC or SC,they will be very willing to give you all the answers you want.On paper,it does look very orderly, going through the proper channels and make the members look like they are the recalcitrant ones,I want to meet them,I want to do this or that but they do not want to,they keep spreading lies about me.twist my facts etc...These are the very things that he does and he said the members do them. Not to CC problems to the archbishop-you think, the people are like those in the interior listen to their pastors blindly? It is the archbishop's duty to know what is still happening in Sabah, nothing has changed. It is the duty of the members to let him know, why are you so scared? Good, when you reply to any questions also cc one copy to the archbishop and see if the archbishop will fall to your scheme or not,if he does not,God bless him but if he does,God helps him!

The HOB forces us to do this.It has gone on long enough and the members are so patient and tolerant to AV's dictatorial and expensive ways and no help from HOB,therefore what choice is there but to be united all with one VOICE to sound out our dissatisfaction of AV to the archbishop! There is no half measure and no stopping now.The fire has started and it will reach to all Anglican churches. So clergies, make your stand now, don't wait anymore. The coming Standing Committee meeting is the best time for you to make your stand.Don't be fooled by crocodile tears and what have you!!

  74. AV still has not changed in nature and conduct, where is the healing and restoration? Only the HOB believe in him because he outwitted them! He raved and ranted in the emergency meeting with the clergies for over 4 hours, still the same.He accused the members for spreading lies, allegations are not true,he is being victimised, the members twist and turn his answers, infact he is the one doing it,still just as bad temper, still wanting to show who is the boss.If we compare the charges brought forward to the PAC to the current behaviour of AV,nothing has changed,he may have signed whatever it is in the recommendations for him by HOB,it is only in theory.Happy to read his coming pastoral letters so that we can compare,it will be the same old AV,raves, rants, curses, threats, the list goes on.These will be proofs that he has not repented one bit so why not let him go now instead of wasting everybody's time. The loss of contributions to the church are others' gains. The longer he stays, the longer Anglican churches are losing money to other organisations and they are welcoming the sheep to go for their spiritual food in their churches while our house is in chaos. It seems that the leaders of other churches are more caring to us than our spiritual leaders. Our spiritual leaders are doing it the wrong way, because of one person, the church is now in chaos! It can be put right, right now but our leaders prefer it the long way, leaving the sheep with no faithful, God fearing strong shepherd.

  75. It's better not to waste our time and resource to resolve our problem with the help of HOB and the non- existent E-court. we should forget about them completely as our spiritual leaders are group of insincere, irresposible and hypocritic people despite of the fact that God has annointed them. It 's sad that they have failed God terribly. They abuse and blaspheme God's authority vested on them by compromising sinful act and wrongdoings of AV's and his cronies. They even go to that extend of covering up their evil deeds by purposely not mentioning their mismanagement of fund in the pastoral letter by Arch bishop. To be honest, my heart sunk to the lowest point when I saw the decision from HOB.Do they stand on the truth for God or half-truth for AV? Do they fear God or AV? How can we trust and respect them!?
So friends out there, do you still believe that we can our resolve our issues within christian family. You be the judge yourselvest. 5. If AV and Michael Tong want to give answers, we want the written answers posted in a website within 24 hours, then we can have a second or third rounds if necessary.

    6. Since Philip Chhoa volunteer to ask written questions, I will give him all the questions apart from what had been reported in the three blogs namely allsaintscathedralsabah.blogspot.com; thetruthasc.wordpress.com and bishopgateinanglicansabah.blogspot.com (my own blogs).

    7. There are enough questions in the three blogs and why M Tong does not answer them also in a blog set up for such purpose so that we can raise all the points there?

    8. We need to see a re-audited accounts and fresh audit report/audit management letter on the amended accounts before such a forum.

    9. What is the implication of a re-convened Synod of fresh delegates elected by members as far as account or newly prepared one is concerned.

    10. Would all those who want to ask questions be given the chance? If this is the case, I don’t think the hours would be enough.

    More to come…

I prefer we go ahead with the petition and let AVCF and M Tong answer all the points of accounts of ADOS in court hearing soon

We need to meet soon to set up our strategy in a Court case..

  83. also posted from the Truth -

I am quite shock that this early afternoon, I failed to post in The Truth and this item may also not appear there. My earlier item "Is AVCF a serial 'murderer' was deleted after it was approved.

So I am posting here --also bishopgateinanglicansabah.blogspot.com

Quote: Prophet R - "If you speak at the meeting I recommend every one of you demand AV’s immediate resignation,no more deal. " and "Just one of us can put a thousand to flight, and two of us can send the legions fleeing. Just one of us can put a thousand to flight and two of us can rout, evil principalities."

What Prophet R wrote is indeed very prophetic and I want to encourage any one or every one to stand up to call for his immediate resignation first as acting Dean (long overdue) and then Bishop without fail. Or he prefer tougher punishment than just resignation.

As he resigns he has to make restitution of money disappeared from ADOS and other appropriate restorations measures - some of which as in the HOBs' pastoral letter dated 18 September, 2012. AVCF knows what to do unless he is really the madman beyond redemption.

One person taking up the Civil Court case had been very effective (don't be disappointed with things outside our control) so far and together with another person (so two) would be devastation for AVCF.

Pray for the Court Hearing on Pre-Trial Case Management before Judge Justice Datuk David Wong Dak Wah tomorrow 15th Oct., 2012 at 9am possibly in the OPEN Court.

  84. AV is going to call a forum on Monday 15 at ASC. AV, if you have called this forum early this year, things may be different. But this may be the last chance for you to turn things around. It may be a bit too late but it depends how sincere are you. You may have to announce on the spot to surrender your power to demonstrate your sincerity because the last you look like asking for forgiveness in the synod but it turns out to be all crocodile tears. So this time , walk your talk. The ball is in your court.

  86. AV is already found guilty by the PAC,why is he still managing his role as bishop? Why is he still calling the shots, calling for dialogues still trying to defend of what he has been 'diagnosed' guilty! He still controls the diocese telling people not to sign the petition. What is the job of the bishop commissary? Is he doing AV's job now or only after he goes for sabbatical leave? Who is in charge of putting the archbishop's recommendations into writing and practice and is AV involved in choosing the committees? If he is involved without the members having a chance to choose, then it is back to square one.I think whatever changing is done,it should be done with AV out of the picture. He cannot be involved!

  88. AV in his video said,to draw large sums of money out from the bank,he alone could not do it without the help of the chancellor and the treasurer,so how come PLo and AV could draw RN85000 from the diocese account without the SC knowing it? Did the Chancellor and the treasurer know it? Can we call this stealing? Why would they use the diocese money to pay for their own personal visa?

RM50000 from the sale of the Tenom shop lot,who gave the 50000 to charity, the seller or the buyer?Where is the receipt? I don't think we buy this explanation like the explanation AV gave regarding his testing of the Thailand's immigration!!!How could these people lie infront of the cross in church! Do we still want him as the bishop,he has already lost the trust from the people invested to him! I hope the archbishop will now know the seriousness of the matter,it is no more the 5 complainants and the numbers are growing.

One person, our dear brother Joushua Kong is enough to outwit a big bucket of sweet potato (tai fun su) ,the crooked cronies of TPW. It is no point of having his roadshow in the east coast anymore as they are not telling the truth but lies and bullshits. however he,TPW is welcome to come here to ask for more humiliation

People who did not attend the meeting may not believe what we say. You really have to be at the meeting to see how bad he is. 96. Mr.WT,you have asked so many questions and worked so hard and the few answers that AV gave you were meaningless and could not be taken as gospel truth. He has now become a seasoned liar.If a person who does not own up his wrong doings then what for we still want him to be our bishop? Let the judge deal with him in court! That is the only way.

I was shocked to read in the truth blog how he dealt with our much loved Bishop Yong Phin Chung. After selecting him as the bishop,he could be so heartless treating his mentor if he regarded Bishop Yong as one. AV could not wait to sit in the bishop's chair,he started renovating all the buildings in the church compound even when Bishop Yong had yet to retire. Deanery also being renovated even though it was just done when Dean Khoo lived there.

I remember when Bishop Chen Fah lived in his deanery,it was a run down house next to the parish hall.He and his family never complained,The furniture was nothing compared to what the Los have now.Just imagine, who are the Los? Living in the deanery and living like deans!!

Then our much loved archbishop Yong, his Bishop's Lodge is nothing compared to the palace that AV and his family are now living. Just inagine being an archbishop of SEA Province and still living in a humble run down house, never complained and always happily invited all parishioners to his house on Christmas day,a time to relax and enjoy, meeting old friends to chat over old times, all town churches chipped in to bring food for the occasion,no 5 star hotel food but 5 star home cooked ones.We really missed the good old days! Now we leave it to the current archbishop to do something,it is in his power to do it but will he do it? That is the question in everybody's mind!

    1. According to the public, the Dialogue of 15th October was so childish and nothing resolved as far as the crisis or BISHOPGATE is concerned.

We all know the problem of the ADOS is the Bishop assisted by some accomplices, and yet this dialogue has failed to remove the Bishop with restitution.

As many think God would do this removal as he is socalled 'anointed by God' and so we can proceed to a "Prayer and FAST" for 24 hours in the Anglican Ground at ASC on 11 November, 2012 and all are invited. Time 12 noon. Sunday.

Please indicate your support and contribution in whatever form.

The Civil case would proceed as it is God's plan. The petition to the Archbishop should be conveyed to the HoB for AVCF's removal.

So let God speak to the church in PFD on 11.11.12.

    4. Did you all notice in the dialogue,AV did not come out with any concrete answers? I did not understand why SF had to answer for him when Mdm Pang asked about still not having a dean in the cathedral. If a bishop thinks there is no one capable yet, then he regards himself as God. We all know the real reason why he put himself as dean for 6 years, because he wants to rule over ASC and get control of the accounts but luckily we have our dear Rosalind sitting there and yet he had to sideline her!! Isn't this proof enough that he wanted a treasurer that is on his side and he played politics to get rid of Rosalind during election time.He campaigned against Rosalind but God intervened,Rosalind was elected!

  99. Mr.William Thien.

Let me help you with this answer regarding the Tenom shop lot.According to AV's reply to this query,I came to understand that the price of the shop should be RM 415,000 but because the seller wanted to give RM50,000 to charity hence,RM 365,000 was paid to the seller. If I remember rightly from what you had written, the answer given to you by the seller was different from the one AV gave,so who is correct? I have never come across a seller so willing to accept a lower price when he could receive a higher price and then to tell the buyer that he preferred to have RM 365,000 and the 50,000 to give to charity! Why would the seller want to tell the buyer this? Could not the seller take the RM415,000 and give whatever sum he wanted to give to charity and then claim tax deduction? Mr.Thien, you understand my interpretation? I can only understand up to this amount. The other figure was RM 473,830 ,I don't understand .If the price was RM 473,830,minus 50,000 for charity, leaving RM 423830 -RM365,000 = Rm 58830.So there was an excess of RM 58830,so to where did this amount go to? Also to some other charities?I am sure you and I cannot understand this funny deal!! I am not good in Maths but I came out with this figure.I am a 70 year old senior woman!I can understand why you want the chancellor to give an explanation but chancellor said he did not know anything!

  100. Faithful Dog
All of a sudden,WE are awaken by being called barking dogs and that in fact God speak through an innocent lady to remind us to keep watch of the house of our christian family .The faithful dogs are indeed barking at the midnight intruders under the cover of dark ,dark night. these familiar thieves are trembling now as the night is short and the dawn is near. We will soon see those dirty hands and feet coming out from our house .
What a coincidence that we have also in Sandakan another innocent fair lady (also one kind lah) who is full of love for our Hollywood actor , wrapping up our artificial roadshow. It is what a happy ending for him. He must have slept well last night .
From what I observed last night, He is a complete defeated man no matter how hard he was trying to hide his feeling by pretending nothing is happened.May I suggest that for the well-being of the church He should take the initiative to step down as a responsible spiritual leader and leave for good,
As for the night the theme of the dialogue is non other than lies, lies, lies.

  102. Nobody is taken in by his acting anymore, crocodile tears are a waste of tears, huggings and hands shaking are signs of farewell! The people are not fools anymore, not taken in by lies from him and his ass.bishops.So many people could remember what happened in certain events and with certain people except the 3 bishops who play 'Mahathir game'. You can see their body language. The sad thing is after the 3 road shows, nothing is settled. The problems are still unsolved, what are we going to do with the schools that are running at a loss? The differences of prices in buying properties still not yet explained,if explained, nobody believes it.What about those priests who over took those senior ones in pay and bonuses, are they going to be demoted? Like one sister from Christ Church asked about the Dean post but met with the answer that YTC is the rector but what is the use,he cannot run the church by himself, the bishop controls him using remote control! Now he is losing credibility!
If the HOB does not come out with something fast,ADOS will fall. Now many churches especially the well to do ones are not giving anymore unless accountability and transparency are put back.It will remain like this until the accounts are reaudited and missing money accounted for and all properties and their prices are made known.

He is losing ground, the sheep's eyes are beginning to open, the more JY controls them the more the sheep will rebel. It is so sad, that people still'worship' AV especially his 2 assistants, you two should counsel him and not join in to tell lies! 105. From the 3 days of dialogues let me tell you what I think of them.

The KK churches were the most vocal especially ASC because they deal directly with AV,they know him through and through! The members who spoke that night had no mercies, they stabbed him right into the deepest most of his heart! He was helpless an needed help from his cronies. These members were not in the least afraid and brave to stand up for what is right.People who tell the truth need not fear, only those who tell lies will!

Sandakan was not bad, they were also vocal according to what was written in the blog but a pity did not get to see a video.

The third church was St.Patrick's,did not get much news except MC was biased but I hope although the people were curbed but their hearts are not! Don't listen to your priest, listen to your heart, hear what God is telling you! Archdeacon Moses being the KK MC
was most fair.He let people talk, only when they talked too long or not very relevant, then he will try to hint at them to stop.

Many of us watched the videos to hear what was said and the most important thing to watch AV's movement. We could see he was not happy to sit there to hear people out,all the criticisms against him but dare not shout at people to get out!Did he say he would try to be a better person,to change etc...no. he was still justifying what he had done.Look at the way, when Dais's friend asked him if it was true that he gave only 3 days' leave to him and not 3 months,he said he was not the bishop at that time and kept calling for Sonia to come to be a witness.Comonlah bishop, you think poor Sonia would come out and testify against you when you are her boss and do have mercy for her,she is a single parent now,you want her to bring back sad memories? This is the type of bishop we have no sympathy for others,so what Dais' friend said was true,no need to call up Melter to help out! Be a man , be responsible of the deeds that you had done! Bishop Melter, did you think Dais would tell you what he thought of the bishop knowing you and AV are buddies? If he did tell you about AV's treatment to him and on Monday night you told a lie to please your boss ,you were not doing justice for Dais and injustice to Sonia!I hope you can sleep well, dead man cannot defend himself.I really hope Dias did not tell you about AV's treatment to him.

    ReplyDelete
  106. For those who could not make it to the dialogue,we still could see the videos but with great difficulty. However,we could see the facial expressions of AV.First he was full of life, even had a hearty laugh explaining why he closed the kindergarten, blah, blah ,blah. We did not believe it one bit.He closed it for his wife to start another using the church money.Dean Khoo's wife also started one but she used her own money as far as I know and when Dean Khoo was forced to resign they moved their school to another place! See how heartless AV is,to find a place for their school and a house to live already made their lives so difficulty and what more to leave before sun down the story went.If you asked AV now he would plead memory loss!!

As the night went on more and more powerful witnesses came out and as you studied his facial expressions,it got more and more sour not really believing his sheep were so daring to say words to him without mercies! Had it been a PCC or SC meeting,I was sure no one dared talk like that without being shouted at and ordered out but surprisingly though that night he was composed although at times he did not pay attention and started to play on his phone. Some said, calculating how much money he had in the bank?

Then when the questions that warranted only a Yes or No answer,he tried to spin, play ignorance like the death of Dais asking the wife to come out, calling the 5 complainants 'traitors'he said he did not do it ,knowing very well he did, even Melter lied and acted memory loss, that he did not hear AV calling the 5 'traitors'.People said JY was the translator but why did he not stand up to support what Melter had said? Why did he put his head down?? Videos are good,we can study each one of them and can play back again and again to study their body language, actions and facial expressions.

Syabas to Moses Chin for doing such a good job for giving the people a fair hearing with AV,if it was another,I was sure they would be shut up.I hope AV will not scold you for not shutting people up when the members scolded him for too long and he did not like it anymore!!

It must be divine intervention for the Provincial Chancellor was present and he just happened to be in KK and heard an earful and saw what happened on Monday night.I am sure he will give the archbishop a report of what he had seen and heard.

  108. Some of you are being deceived by the crying of AV.Such a big man,so powerful, infact the bishop ,one day archbishop ,holding the highest post in the Anglican Communion in Sabah cried to get sympathies from others. If you go back to your videos again, you will see one AV,very gentle, playing innocence, playing the victim with so many members attacking him and he answered in a soft voice without shouting, saying that he did not do this or that,so and so where are you,(asking for YTC) etc,etc.. The real AV was not manifested, perhaps that is why he fooled so many people!! He knew he could not fool the KK crowd but he knew Tawau is his strong hold,so he let go his crocodile tears again.Wait a minute, wasn't it the Tawau people telling us KK folks to be careful of his crocodiles tears?

Rosalind had a point when she said the bishop's wife is the head mistress of her Academy school, she is paid to teach and has annual leave and if she chooses to accompany her husband to anywhere when she is invited, that means accompany her husband is more important than her job.I was a teacher myself,if we wives wanted to accompany our husbands overseas to meetings or to our children's graduations we had to apply leave without pay and the number of days absent would be recorded and the amount incurred would be deducted from our gratuity when we retired. We also had to get a replacement teacher to teach our lessons while we were away. Our bishop's wife has the best of both worlds,to go overseas at the expense of the church several times a year, still has pay and other teachers to cover up for her.She said she could not help it because she is the wife of the bishop, then for goodness' sake resign from your job, then you can follow your husband even to the ends of the earth.

  109. Aiyoh, yoh, how could a bishop defame the hon.auditor for his upside down accounts as was heard in the Sandakan audio recording. Bishop, why blamed others when the fault lies with you! It seems to us that now it has become a habit with our bishops,so difficult to tell whether they are telling the truth or lies but most of the time they cover each other with LIES! Now if I heard correctly on Monday KK dialogue,MT is trying to make the accounts look presentable and give it back to George Lim to audit again.Correct me if I heard wrongly. If the bishop had already defamed GLim for his inefficiency,if I were GL,I would flatly refuse to do the auditing even if the diocese pays.Let them find outside firm to do it! How sim mau how pau!!! He thinks everybody works for money and this reveals money is important to the bishop. His money or the church money? could even buy the silence of a girl hit in an accident!!

  110. I heard AVCF telling the forum in Sandakan that he is now studying the postings in the blogs in greater details and so he is using all the resources of the office to do that in addition to defend his case.

Is that fair to the church and the wastage of more resources for all the 'crimes' he had committed alone and with his accomplices like in a sort of gangsterism.?

Members of the church must demand that AVCF be suspended while he deals with his personal matters.. This has been going on for afew months already.

Now in Sandakan, AVCF tried to answer as if he is an accountant as the Treasurer is absent. So it means he had been handling the accounting and bookkeeping functions of the ADOS when Paul Chong was a non-paid treasurer.

What say the Honorary Auditor now George is accused by AVCF of malfunctioning as an Auditor of the ADOS accounts.

The Auditor cannot go wrong to issue the Management letter as he depends on the quality of the accounts as presented to him.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Are we going to let our church be run by a bunch of liars, thieves, accusers and money spenders? When things go wrong, they accuse others through no faults of theirs, like accusing the auditor for not doing up the audit properly when they themselves did not know how to keep their accounts in order. They lied through their teeth and then apologised later not to everyone but only to certain people, why? The bishop spent the members' money as if it is his own and even justified himself why the wife must be brought along through the invitation of the host.In this case, the host should pay for the wife's expenditure. In the past, bishops were not allowed to have their wives accompanied them often, only certain occasions when all wives would attend. If they wanted their wives to accompany them, the wife had to pay from her own pocket. Through the dialogue in ASC on Monday night, proof was found that someone had his hand in the cookie jar,how do we define his action? Mind you all these are spiritual leaders of our church!!

  112. we know most of the clergies are standing silently behind the 5 complainants and Mr. Joshua Kong. They have had and suffered enough with the persecution and waiting for God's intervention and deliverance. The downfall of the wild man is eminent and this is for sure. May I urge those clergies distance yourself from the GREATEST MANNN of ADOS, protect yourself from being dragged into the DISHONESTl activities engaged by him. we all know that it is a hard lesson through which the church is strenghtened.
As I recall the video, God in fact speak to his very ownself through his tongue that it is not right for him to stop the petition. firstly, He have rejected the calling from the church to resolve the issues within the church for more than one year and even called brothers and sisters who stand in the frontline TRAITORS. His second reason for not signing the petition is that will cause division. Isn't it that he is the root cause of the division that God speaks to him?The third reason of our signing is a hints of the spirit of rebellion and blah blah. Isn't that he is rebellious that God reminds him?
In the last dialogue in ASC, God has clearly spoken to him through God' people that if he still have the small mustard seed of character and dignity, He know what he should do.
Can he hear that very loud and angry instruction from God. Should he step down now as an obedient servant. However he choose not to resign from office. Is that what he says the spirit of rebellion?

Please, Rev YTC, make a quick turn away from the wrong path which is heading to destruction. For God sake, take a bold step to talk to and to hear from your sheep with Patience, love and compassion . You know, your sheep are scattered now as their shepherd is lost . You know, our God is a jealous God who will not allow you to worship your idol.

  114. I think our priests are now beginning to act like 'tai ko' asking for protection even in church! Are they real priests and flexing their muscles not that YTC has much to flex? What can JK do and did you have proof that he was going to create problems? How could you accuse you own brother in Christ falsely? Are you a shoe shine boy ,trying to please your master? You have been doing quite a lot of displeasing things lately. How do you expect us to believe in your sermons?

I feel so ashamed that I have to act ignorant of all these and make an excuse to stay away from them. no face to face people. The 3 B lied in God Sanctuary that they never refer the 5 complainants as traitors in Telupid. In their hearts they know it is true.. I really wonder how they can preach God's word with lies. To me, Any one of them happens to be in our church, I will not attend church service that sunday.

  116. We all hope and pray that the HOB will read our blogs to get first hand knowledge and not like AV said he did not read the blogs and had no time to answer questions from anonymous people but during the KK dialogue,he still did not answer even when the members came right out introduced themselves and he could see their faces. He played dumb and looking for scrap goats and found one of his ass. bishops to do it.The other one also played dumb! Sad to say the ass. bishop also told lies just to stay in the good books of his boss!

When he was in Sandakan,he said he would not prevent people from signing the petition,it was up to them after receiving a thrashing from Dr.James.Now in Tawau, checking on people and telling them it was satanic to do that!

In KK ,it was revealed buying the Bangkok Garden was not in the knowledge of the SC but in Sandakan he said SC knew! The priests resigned on their own he said and he always counselled them and told them not to resign but they told differently.Who would want to give up a job that he was doing for so long and loved it to resign without another job in sight if there was nothing he could not stand!.He would not just resign for the fun of it when he had a family to feed. One lady came out to prove to AV that she was told to resign by him.

He also denied that Dais was unfairly treated but,if so why there was a complaint sent to archbishop John Chew at that time? Letter written by his wife was clearly fabricated or could be under duress as she has to depend on AV for her living.

Accounts in a mess and he put the blame onto the auditor twisting the facts around. The auditor's job is to audit not to keep accounts for the church and from the accounts it could be plainly seen, done by AV or ordering someone to do it his way because he is the bishop, he always says he has the prerogative, putting the figures all in the wrong columns which is not according to accounting system.

As for not allowing people to be buried in the anglican cemetery if they did not go to church,I was told some could, only you know why they were so special. AV transferred his parents-in-laws' graves from other places to be buried in the KK Likas Anglican cemetery, can others do the same to make it more convenient to visit the graves? If AV could do it,then everybody can do so!

    Will be continued

  117. The law of Removal of Bishop in accordance to the following Constitutions:-
    1. The Constitution of Diocese of Sabah,
    2. The Constitution of the Province of the Anglican Church in South East Asia.
The Constitution of Diocese of Sabah, where Article III subsection 3 “The Bishop may be removed from office only for inability to perform the functions of the office, whether arising from infirmity by body or mind, or for misbehavior, or for heresy. The procedure for removal shall be in accordance with Article IV (h) and Regulation B of the Constitution of the Province.

The Constitution of the Province of the Anglican Church in South East Asia. Article Article IV (h) states “ A Diocese Bishop may be removed from office only for inability to perform the functions of the office, whether arising from infirmity by body or mind, or for misbehavior, or for heresy. The procedure for removal is set out in Regulation B.

Regulation “B” section 2 “When a complaint in writing against the Archbishop or a Diocesan Bishop is received, it shall in the first instance be referred to the House of Bishops. A copy of the complaint shall be served on the Archbishop or the Diocesan Bishop as the case may be, who shall within 4 weeks thereof submit an explanation in writing. The House of Bishops may dismiss the complaint or direct further investigations as it deems fit.
Section 3 states “Where it appears to the House of Bishops that the complaint is substantiated and sufficiently grave or serious as to warrant removal, the House of Bishops shall refer the complaint to the Ecclesiastical Court to be convened for the purpose of determining the removal or otherwise of the Archbishop or Diocesan Bishop.
So Joshua Kong’s comments are as follows:-

    1. Bishop AV is unable to perform as inability to perform the functions of the office, whether arising from infirmity by body or mind, or for misbehavior, or for heresy.
1.1 There are enough of incidences of that inability. (schedule to be enclosed). Actually I had done a dossier of 200 pages in August, 2012 and couriered to House of Bishops for consideration.
    2. If we examine Regulation “B” section 2 and 3, it is very clear that there is no provision for the House of Bishops to issue an unauthorized decision on 18th September, 2012 on the complaint of the 5.
2.1 Since it is proven in the Provincial Advisory Committee’s investigation in a report that 38 of the 40 items were valid, The Ecclesiastical Court must be established.
    3. Non Compliance of the Decision
Since 18th September, 2012 and now more than a month, nothing in the Pastoral letter to the Diocese of Sabah has been complied with.
    4. Dialogues/Forums with members and beneficiaries
These three functions hastily arranged with very short notices in Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau further confirm Bishop AV as unable to perform. The answers given must be in writing as denials would arise.

    5. CHANNELS now open
5.1 Fresh petition for the Removal of Bishop of Sabah to the House of Bishops should state that the House of Bishops or Archbishop cannot issue that unauthorized decision of 18th September, 2012..
5.2 Demand that the House of Bishops act on the inability to perform.
5.3 The Civil Court case on the malpractice, irregularities to be pursued by House of Bishops for restitution.
5.4 Since Bishop AV has belittled the unauthoirsed decision (sort of concession), which BAV had consented to and like a show cause letter, House of Bishops can now bypass the E-court to remove the Bishop of Sabah.
5.5 Since BAV was not suspended during the PAC investigation, the removal now is even more pressing.

  118. My friends in Christ,

    What are you waiting for?

On that count of NOT complying with Regulation B, APSEA is also finished in breach of Constitution and a precedent.

This give us a chance to have no confidence on the APSEA and lodge an official complaint to Archbishop of Canterbury.

So ADOS can push out AVCF for us to start a total revamp of the Diocese of Sabah.

So we need to work fast now.

  119. Apology by MJT in theTruthasc.wordpress.com

MJT wrote : “did not purposely defend Bishop Datuk Albert Vun nor to deny the truth or to lie. I was merely saying what I could recall that night.”

Can we accept this apology if he had been still defensive of AVCF in the way he wrote here?

If I am not mistaken hearing the Video, he did challenge the person who asked this question – Were you there and MJT declared he was there” and the exchange of words stopped.

So this is a conditional apology and the damage is too stressful and clearly it is time for all 3 bishops to resign now as JY was silent on the same issue. He could have clarified on this matter there and then.

So unclean hands, unclean heads, unclean hearts and unclean minds automatically disqualify them from the high offices where the spiritual truth cannot be compromised.

Go now go now, before being chased out…Ask Eric of goodsam to coin a good song for this please to smoothen the departure of all top leaders, some priests, some pastors, Standcom, Synod delegates.

The Game of LIES are over…Praise God.

  120. It was great to hear bishop Melter apologising for the lies he told. Now he has to tell the interior sheep what he had told the KK sheep. He has to earn back his credibility which was lost so long ago.He has to dis -associate himself from AV if there are dishonest dealings and must stand firm on what is right and not corrupt. He can get back his credibility by getting all the interior sheep to sign up the petition. In this way, only then we know he is genuine that he really wants a clean church with a clean and God fearing leader who loves and cares for his sheep.

  121. Lets put this in the proper perspective in the whole scenario of BISHOPGATE.

Some may think it is small matter that the 5 were mentioned by names away from KK.

What was the intention of the AVCF – the greater LIAR and everything else- to name the 5 and then called them “TRAITORS’.

At the AGM of ASC 2012, the illegal Chairman was always emphasizing that offensive words like “dictator”, “onemanshow” could not be used and now AVCF in May, 2012 used such offensive word as ‘TRAITORS”.

AVCF is always known to be a street fighter from young and he declared he never lost, but now he is sadly losing on all fronts.

When AVCF used the word “TRAITORS’, he was expecting the congregations to rise up against them including physical and spiritual harms like prayers against the 5 for no good reason at all. Rumours by way of mouth would spread very fast in the ADOS to shame them.

For my Civil Case, you go there http://www.anglicansabah.org/2010.1/main.htm where the Pastoral letter dated 5th August 2012 is still posted there :-

My name appeared on the first line ---
    Extract “Bishop’s Pastoral Letter 5th August 2012
On the eve of our Jubilee Celebration, Joshua Kong served an interim injunction to stop me from performing any management duties and to make any financial transaction. The service of the injunction was published in the newspaper on the day when we celebrated the 50thanniversary of our Diocese. Despite the negative publicity, I am glad that the celebration was not dampened in any way.
I know many have been very concerned to have our church matters now disputed in the public arena. In our defence, I have Mr Ronny Cham, Datuk Stephen Foo (Diocesan Chancellor) and Rev Kenneth Thien to advise and act on my behalf. Mr Ronny Cham represented us in the hearing on the 3rd August to set the injunction aside. I have submitted to the court my sworn affidavit based on truth. The judge heard lawyers from both side in his chamber. Mr Ronny Cham had on our behalf, raised 2 very pertinent legal points. Lawyer from the other side requested for an adjournment in order for them to file written submission. The judge wanted to hear arguments from both sides before making his judgment. In the meantime, the judge made an order to the effect that the injunction be of no more effect until he has made his final decision on our applications on 21 September 2012. With this latest development, we no longer come under the restriction of the injunction served on us. We pray and hope, the judge will decide in our favor to strike out the injunction and the suit.”

That pastoral letter is an abuse approach as AVCF wanted to drag me into the Case against the Bishop of Sabah and himself. By publishing my name in the first line was trying to raise the anger of the church members against me when I did not sue the church. What was written in the pastoral letter as per above is half truth only to deceive the readers now exhibited in the homepage for almost three months when subsequent court hearings had taken place. Would AVCF remove this posting when the Writ against him is still very much alive? The Court never ruled for him in my Civil Case.

I also know why he posted my name as the newspapers on the Court hearing on 3rd August, 2012 had been anonymous. He thought he was the ‘anointed’ one and look down on me not daring to show my name in the press rather than just “Plaintiff”. I purposely left out my name in the press to avoid the socalled ‘anointed’ and ‘important’one calling me for cheap publicity to bring AVCF to Court.

In a way, AVCF fell into my trap in that instance and subsequent hearings my name appeared and plenty of photographs in at least 4 papers on 16th October, 2012 when AVCF was disappointed with the Court rulings on 15th October, 2012.
Almost all church members now know the truth of the case in Court.

  122. Who is in charge of the ADOS website. The pastoral letter on the 5th August is still there. Is AV trying to prove something that he 'won' his case between him and JK? Affer the dialogues, what now? There should be steps how to rectify those problems but so far none that the members know of! It seems that members are always in the dark. This Christmas is not going to be a joyous one with all the problems still in sight and looks like the bishop and wife still have not yet listened to the sheep who built the bishop's lodge for them but not allowed to view it-a one million renovation including everything! From this everyone can see that the Vuns just take, take, take without giving anything in return, not even a free invite to view the lodge which does not belong to him anyway!!

Bav promised to give our brother David a copy of full detail of list of work done and its cost as well. 123. BMT said in KK dialogue that 'HE WAS THERE' telling Clarence and asked him 'WERE YOU THERE'? He said it with so much confidence as if he was very sure that he could witness for AV that AV did not mention the 5 names nor called them 'Traitors',what could Clarence reply when he wasn't there but he had friends there? BMT could have said he could not hear properly because of too much noise or because he had fallen asleep due to tiredness and too much work or he could have gone to the toilet when AV was releasing his fiery temper, therefore he could not verify if AV had accused the 5 people but the way he said it with so much confidence and looking at Clarence straight in the eye meant that he supported AV's lies!! White lies are better than real lies . Worse still, making Clarence look like he was the one making false allegations against AV infront of 400 people! When the members refused to believe in him and he saw with his own eyes after going for 3 dialogues and the people kept revealing more and more truths and the leaders could not answer them,he was touched by the Holy Spirit revealing to him how evil the other 2 are and so he does not want to be a part of it. Perhaps what happened in Tawau was the turning point for him? We hope he will not be like AV,shedding crocodile tears one day, saying sorry one day and the next day back to his old self! We were fooled so many times and the members cannot be blamed for being sceptical. We have to watch and discern and it will take time to have that respect and credibility back but for BMT to apologise and have his apologies published in the truth blood where
the world Anglicans can read is a good step to the right!

  124. Recalling the night when we had our dialogue or forum with BAV at Sandakan Good Shepherd Church. When he touched on the topic of petition, He said BMT could easily get few thousand signatories to support him from interior church if he wanted . Then he turn his head to ask BMT How many thousand, How many? How many ? (he asked a few times). Then BMT opened his eyes slowly (as some of the time BMT closed his eyes while sitting there)and very reluctantly and softly answered, many lah !! Clearly BAV wanted to drag BMT into another round of trouble apart from the incidence of naming the 5 complainants and classifying them as traitors. I think BMT is smart enough to handle his boss. His boldness to stand out and post his letter of apology at the thetruth blogspot was clearly prompted by the holy spirit.I hope he will lead the interior clergies and church to work with the 5-righteous and those rallying behind them so that our ADOS will be saved before it is too late. Please, BMT get a few thousand of signatories for the petition instead of BAV. It is also a way of showing your sincerity to save ADOS, the kingdom of God on earth. You are very important for our struggle and our common cause. May God bless you and your family and also all the interior church., Amen !!!!

  125. Another rubbish unheaded and undated — by So Chai.

Totally unacceptable for the resolution of BISHOPGATE.

    From Bishop Albert Vun

Warm greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus.

Last week, some standing committee members and I had dialogues with members of churches in KK, Sandakan, Tawau, to help clear up some matters faced by our Diocese at this time. In the course of our dialogue, some members have expressed that , as a bishop, have come across as proud or lacking in compassion. I would like to assure all our members that my heart is always to love our church, both the urban and the interior, and to grow our churches to be strong local churches each contributing to extend God’s kingdom through effective evangelism and good works. I want to offer my sincere apology to our members, if in mobilizing the vision of our Diocese, I have hurt you in any way, I humbly ask you to forgive me.

At the KK meeting on Monday, I was asked if I had named the 5 complainants, who lodged complaints to the Archbishop, at the private meeting with our clergy and evangelists in May 2012. I truly do not remember if I had named the 5 complainants and called them “traitors”. But one of our pastors later informed us she remembered I did. I want to take full responsibility for wht I have done and said, I offer to the 5 complainants my sincere and unreserved apology. I humbly ask for their forgiveness.

I am not perfect. But I have tried my best to serve and to lead our church as Diocesan Bishop in the last 6 years, looking to the for direction and courage to break through new grounds. None of us want see our church divided and we all want to seek reconciliation and peace in our church. I am asking all of us to do our part to build up the church. Let us forgive one another and grow in love. For the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us learn to speak the truth in love to one another openly and honestly. We do need to give time and opportunities for the leadership to resolve the problems through proper channels and in the spirit of Christian love and grace.

The Rt Rev Datuk Albert Vun Cheong Fui.

  126. Nov AV apologized officailly for his wrong doing. But he did not say what are his damage repair steps or healing plans which he should say it out after what he had hurt the church members. Is it just an apology and the end of the story.?

    ReplyDelete
  127. Hearing the 2 apologies, first one from BM and then BAV there were similarities in their apologies. Both did not remember but had to be told by other people.BM by office staff and bishop by a lady pastor! However, witnesses in Telupid said AV spoke on the last night, translator was JY where there were hundreds of people listening, not in the cafeteria. As for a lady pastor telling AV that he did name the 5 complainants do we believe she dared tell AV that he lied? Now having read the church bulletin,I lost faith in BM.At first I really accepted his apology but now beginning to wonder that these two could have cooked up a similar story. If you keep forgetting what you said then maybe it is time to call it a day and let some younger priests who have good memories to do your work!

Are we going to accept AV's apology? I think before BM sent the apology email to the truth blog,he must have consulted AV first and both went 'on the air' but BM's was out first because AV said he does not blog!!Therefore he was late and the members accepted BM's apology with gladness and forgiveness of heart!! but now having read AV's apology,I think we all have second thoughts.I don't know about you all but I do have second thoughts.

BM,you do not have to worry.AV will not ask you to resign and we do not have to fight for you to stay because both of you are still buddies. You knew you are safe before releasing your apology and we were really taken in by you! JY how about you? Do you remember translating for AV?

    ReplyDelete
  128. Since AV is in the mood for apologising,he should apologise to the Honorary auditor for defaming him and blaming him for his own mess. Can he say he has forgotten what he said about the auditor? It was recorded in the audio recording so he cannot say he can't remember! No point in apologising and the next minute back to his original self. We can accept his apologies but with conditions that he can only preach and no control of the finance but even then.not sure if the members will agree to this idea.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Re-apology by AV/Melter- they have sinned against GOD and against men- 5 and many more, the whole ASC/ ADOS, therefore I feel the three Bishops and all other clergies involved in lying and other wrongdoings be required to repent before GOD during church service, to promise firstly to the LORD GOD and then the people that they will LIE NO MORE, SIN NO MORE, HURT MEMBERS NO MORE. An apology written on a piece of paper for one issue doesn't mean much and not that difficult I feel. WE WANT TRUE REPENTANCE WITH DEEDS(turning away from their evil and wickedness). AREN'T THERE 40 CHARGES AGAINST AV???

    ReplyDelete
  130. We are all experts analysing AV's character, his deeds and his words. We are getting cleverer by the day and can read into what he writes, how he acts and what he says ,whether it is from his heart (the holy spirit) or from the devil inside him. One would have thought, wah,AV apologised, wonderful,he did show some repentance, let's forget about the crisis, forgive ,start healing and restoration! Most of us are now not taking in by what he says without discerning first and see if it is sincere, any truths in what he says and writes, then comes our opinion of him. With his latest trick of using an apology letter which is not genuine at all, hoping that the members will forget all his wrong doings,he finds himself in the center of criticisms all over again. The members could know he still has not repented, still pushes the blame on to others. Do you all think AV will accept full responsibility for the things that he has not done? Remember, even those things that are true revealed by the members,he said they are all lies? 38 charges out of 40 are true by the PAC,can he say they are all lies?

    ReplyDelete
  131. I read AV's apology's letter many times and tried to read deep into his words to see if there is any sincerity or not but sad to say, none! His words were so casual, words like anyway, the harm's done,if I have hurt you ,putting the blame on a lady pastor for his telling of lies.If the lady pastor had not threatened him,he would not have apologised. He also said if the question arose again in Sandakan and Tawau he would tell the truth. That meant if nobody asked then he would keep quiet! Is that what you call truely sorry for wrongfully accusing and naming the 5 complainants?. His letter of apology was not so urgent like MT's letter. He was sorry for not telling the truth but gave credit to his office staff for telling him,a bit better than AV! I don't understand why you priests not brave enough to tell AV his faults. It was left to a lady to do it!

  132. We have done much, praying, writing, talking, sharing, telling others what to do and now we need to do this URGENTLY.

Straight forward to another Police Report to remove AVCF as Bishop at Noon on 11.11.12 (Sunday)

We must take stock of what some of our people are doing since October, 2011.

Today it is 29th October, 2012 with the anniversary 23rd October just past for the first blog was started and it has been non stop for the campaign to remove the Bishop of Sabah in the person of Datuk Albert Vun Cheong Fui.

Most of you know the almost full story with some yet to unfold.

Are the campaigners on track to remove AVCF as soon as possible the root cause of the crisis aka BISHOPGATE ? Yes, I would say but we need to push forward yet with another Police Reports.

How many Police Reports had been lodged by AVCF and his gang?

If no Police Report was not made, how did the All Saints’ Cathedral as confirmed by Rector Yong Thiam Choy (YTC) the presence of many police personnel inside the Cathedral church and the Cathedral compound on the night of 29th August, 2012. YTC even blamed me for the presence of the Police in church. So ridiculous indeed.

So we too can lodge more Police Reports at the Karamunsing Police Station on various important issues hopefully the Police would take appropriate action on AVCF and his gang.

The lodgement of Police Reports would be effective if we have up to 1,000 supporters all lined up in the Karamunsing Police Station compound spilling over to the All Saints’ Cathedral at 12noon of 11th November, 2012. Some banners would be useful for good publicity. Be there – my friends.

Who want to volunteer as the organizers? We need to meet.

The details of the Police Report/s would be only known after the lodgement to the press.

Time is running out after various hideous programmes of the Bishop. Now we have a dubious written APOLOGY of a crime committed by AVCF. There are many more ‘crimes’ committed by AVCF and his gang.

You all would appreciate how very important to remove the Bishop AVCF who is also the sole trustee of Anglican Diocese of Sabah when a trustee cannot remember what he had said or done..

All the blame games, all the lies, all the thieving, all the illegal acts, all the oversea travels MUST end now.

My friends, STOP that once and for all with FINAL Police Reports and no regrets as there is no such thing for the socalled ‘anointed one’.
This is Judgement from God through us. Thank God.

  133. Medical doctors including Anglican members who have been observing AVCF can present their reports or comments on the mental status of AVCF to us for inclusion in the Police Reports on 11.11.12.

These few medical doctors can also present a single Police Report calling the authorities to intervene to bring AVCF for full examination of the mind as AVCF does not know what he had said some months ago..

So my doctors friends - please do your part to resolve BISHOPGATE the earlier the better.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Medical Doctors, here are your a guide in 3 indicators amongst many in AVCF's distress...save him to save ADOS...

There are enough of scenario of situations where AVCF’s actions and inactions give the affirmation of his unsound mind from his unexplained behaviour since he became Bishop of Sabah in 2006.

‘Traitors” and “”Barking Dogs” used disparagingly

    1. Is it normal for an incoming Bishop to transfer all his former staff in St Patrick’s Church Tawau where he served 1990-2005 to replace the existing staff of the Diocese of Sabah at Wisma Anglican? What was his intention then and now it is confirmed by the consequences of such a move.as we see AVCF’s irresponsibility and recalcitrant accenting to such low level as calling the 5 Complainants as “Traitors” in Telupid but denied by AVCF and his 2 assistant Bishops in a blame of memory loss (mental sickness) until a dubious APOLOGY in questionable fashion on 28th October, 2012. The pressure on this was piling up since the hurriedly (irresponsible and recalcitrant) arranged dialogue with members in All Saints’ Cathedral on the night of 15th October, 2012 where AVCF allowed his crony Juliene Sim to call Anglican members as “Barking dogs”. So these are so low level attitude in the socalled Bishop AVCF to use “Traitors” and denied it and then allow the use of “Barking Dogs” in God’s house. No question of unsound mind here hence his mental status must be checked by a Government Hospital for mental illness.

AGM - Missing in Action as unexplained

2 Since becoming Bishop of Sabah in 2006, some 14 senior priests and pastors had been forced to resigned suddenly. Also the All Saints’ Cathedral kindergarten was closed suddenly. Then All Saints’ Cathedral was running in massive deficit annually especially in 2010 and 2011 under AVCF as acting Dean (AVCF called himself DEAN) and after manipulating the microphone of the honorary Treasurer of All Saints’ Cathedral in 2011, the acting Dean/Chairman of the Parochial Church Council (PCC) at the AGM of ASC somehow ‘decided’ to disappear in the ASC AGM in 2012. The irresponsible and recalcitrant acting Dean/Chairman/Bishop of unsound mind in all things illegal did not prove that he was in Thailand but appointed an illegal rector to act for AVCF in the AGM not provided in the Constitution of ASC. All the illegal acts of the acting Dean/ Chairman are documented in the Court document with financial irregularities already done by AVCF. Before he as a crook plead insanity, we better send AVCF for a mental check to avoid further destruction of the irresponsible and recalcitrant man as Bishop in Anglican Diocese of Sabah (ADOS) especially All Saints’ Cathedral.
    No. 3 to come next

Many other situations of AVCF and his gang are found every way.

God wants us to deal with AVCF now without any further delay

  135. here is the 3rd item --

    3. Constructed an illegal building in Kokol Mountains

Is it sane or insanity for AVCF and his cronies to construct an illegal building known as Kokol Prayers Summit costing some RM5m hurriedly (irresponsible and recalcitrant)? It was simply an easy method to rob ADOS in a known modus operandi as the said accounts are now questioned. It is also understood that the said building is sitting on an instable slope with erosion in place. The project is fully documented by me as AVCF could not present a full report on that. The premises was in use in 2009, dedicated on 29th August, 2010 and occupation certificate on 14th December, 2011 and so is this an illegal building designed by an Engineer not an architect who was brought in to cover up for the shortcoming. The expensive building is sited on a leased land that does not belong to ADOS as it is a native title. So is it sane or insanity to pursue such an illegal project?

Here are 3 simple items of many that give rise to much doubt on the capacity of the mind of AVCF hence it is urgent to send AVCF to have his head checked as AVCF cannot perform the important duty as a sole registered trustee and removed as Bishop for infirmity of mind through his strange and evil behaviour mainly due to bad faith, malice, evil intent, instigating his cronies and supporters to act vindictively by words and actions in all things he had done or not done in proper fashion .

  136. After having read the "apology" published by BAV, it has not made any difference to the fact that he has shown himself to be unfit to lead the Anglican Diocese of Sabah. In fact, it has only proven again and deepen our conviction that BAV must go. There is no point of pressing him further to apologise any more sincerely because he has already lost all integrity and whatever he says or preaches does not make any more impact on us. He has brought much disgrace and shame not only to the Anglicans but more so to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has deluded even himself into believing that he can tell lies without getting punished because he is "above" all else. His conscience is seared. Let us not waste time trying to squeeze out anything good from him.

Now we must not lose track in the midst of all this maze that the final target is to remove him. I feel sad that he is still allowed to lead the In-Charge Clergy and Pastors' meeting to be held on 31st October to 1st November 2012 to plan for the year ahead. What else is there ahead for the church if BAV is still the bishop? More corruption? More lies? That it's ok to be corrupted? That it's ok to tell lies? How could any clergy or full time workers be expected to listen and obey such a liar and hypocrite like him to lead the sheep? God have mercy! How can this go on? How long more will BAv be allowed to do his act and not be held accoountable for any of his misdeeds? What are we teaching in our church then?

I hope the pastors and clergy will not passively and dumbly follow BAV. Pastor Margaret Chong has given me some hope that there is or rather are some clergy who fear God rather than men. Please let there be more amongst the clergy who would be bold enough like her to stand up for the truth. For if we do not stand up or speak up for the truth, than we do not reflect who God is for God is truth and in Him there is no lie.

  137. How can we believe that the Decision of the Provincial Advisory Committee PAC investigation report issued by the Archbishop would work at all.

I am sorry to sound very negative because it is totally illegal from the context of the Provincial Constitution.

So Bolly Lapok must put this right immediately withour receiving the Petition.

First is unconstitutional to issue that Decision in a pastoral letter to the Diocese of Sabah of 18th September, 2012 and the accused AVCF is keep silent waiting for the time to remove Bolly Lapok. Sad backlash.

If you study the Constitution of Diocese of Sabah, how do we think an independent Committee on Development can be set when there is no provision for that and again AVCF is keeping silent.

Actually, the PAC investigation report was ready early in August, 2012 and Bolly Lapok should have instructed AVCF to pass a motion in the Diocesan Synod 2012 0f Sabbah held at the end of August, 2012 to set up that body for development.

If the standing Committee of the ADOS decide to do it, it would the same people in the SC hence not independent and can play more havoc to church funds (last grabs). The best thing to do is to freeze all development projects until AVCF is removed and ADOS is revamped.

What about the Acting Dean and not Dean to be replaced in All Saints' Cathedral? We hear nothing of that despite there was some indication at the illegal Diocesan Synod and now AVCF would claim he never has the intend to resign as acting Dean/Dean with a new replacement acceptable to all.

So are we sitting on illegalities at the Anglican Province of Church in SEA?

I thought APSEA has a few qualified lawyers in the Standing Committee of the Province in Kuching. and what happen to them now - all mumb?

  138. What is there for BAV to plan ahead again, for ADOS's future or his disgraceful exodus ? His role as bishop in our diocese is no more effective and recognized as far as we are concerned. His character and cronies are to be blamed for his downfall. I hope he has learned from this hard lesson and repent for his wrongdoings before he move on in life. Mind you,BAV , healing process will not start and come if you and your LEFT and Right-hand men still around. So for God sake, May I urge you to resign immediately as God has spoken to you through His church members.

  139. Looks like AV is not going to follow through what the HOB recommended. Infact he had already broken the gag order and he could not care less about the 5 complainants' warnings and after his not genuine apology now back to his original self to plan for next year's itinerary? I am not even sure he will go on sabbatical leave. He only chose MT as bishop commissary for only a short while when he went to Brisbane on his favourite mission trip! Is MT still the bishop commissary? So much time has been wasted,3 dialogues, what is the result? Nothing, except more confusion, more frustrations and no end insight!

  140. From the video taken in Tawau shown in the truth blog,I could see JY is even worse than AV,he too has NPD not like the JY in the past anymore! This disease is infectious! How could we have leaders defending themselves and not willing to say sorry.Where is the repentance, healing and restoration that the archbishop recommended? In other words he said how could one say sorry when he did not do anything to be sorry for! Some of the clergies should go and clean their ears and go for check up with an ENT doctor to test their hearing! So we must be BEWARE of this JY,he can never be the next bishop.Infact,he was chosen by AV not God to be the ass.bishop, over jumping others more senior and more able than him.In KK he was as quiet as a mouse but in Tawau ,his territory,a different man.

I can't help thinking,in the eyes of God,those who will be confirmed by AV together with JY? considered real members of the church or not? These people tell lies without batting and eyelid and do things not pleasing to God and now confirming others, isn't it a serious matter? The HOB still remain silent and let AV carry on his merry ways.Planing for next year itinerary without him or still included him? Members,AV is not the only person that we have to fight, there are a few more whom we know very well have to go with him!

Will the SLO ask for protection from the police at tonight's service in ASC? YTC said in big celebration, for security's sake the church needs protection from trouble makers like JK and other people- false accusations

  141. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Once we started with AVCF since 2006, and it took 6 years to be disappointed.
Now after 4 years of MJT as assistant B, we are disappointed..

Now after two years of JU as ass B, we are disappointed..
Many more priests and pastors under AVCF, we are also disappointed.
For those priests resigned or sacked, many (not come out) are also a disappointment for us.

We were disappointed with the Investigation report held confidential although 38 items out of 40 are materials for E-Court but E-Court is not on, and this is illegal according to the Provincial Constitution and so what now?

Can Archbishop make good anything not constitutional and I am sure AVCF would challenge everything from the HoBs.

So would you be disappointed with another petition to the HOBs?

Until B Lapok act in whatever or whichever way, AVCF may find a new excuse not to leave ADOS because of the second petition.....

So what now? Are we not going to be disappointed with UNCONSTITUTIONAL items now exposed?

The Police Reports with 1,000 supporters is the quick option left to break the godfather help on AVCF case.

Do it now or leave it to regret and petition to HOB plus Police Report on 11.11.12 would hasten the removal of the AVCF and his gang.

Anything to penalise AVCF properly now without E-Court would have to go through the Police and Civil Court now..and so it Police Report by Anglicans Sabah of up to 1,000 at the Police Station.

To get to the bottom of the mistery of the police presence in the cathedral on her husband's ordination day ,can someone write to Ps Stella Lo, since it was reported by someone it could be her, and she feels very safe with everyone covering up for her, and we have been barking up the wrong tree.

  143. The 3Bs in ADOS seem to be getting worst than the 3CMs politicians, but with many similarities, corrupted, want to cling on power despite being exposed the wrong doing, refuse to amit the wrong, have many faces but thick though, and tell lies to defend their positions. Politicians can be removed by votes. But the 3 Bs can be removed by petitions but it may take longer time until it reaches thousands signatures. Yes Just keep on explaining to church members and keep the signing on and on.

    1. Signing the petition maybe OK, but it is hard to appeal to the same person who had made up his mind albeit illegal decision. That is the sign of NPD in the whole APSEA.

Better to demonstrate your support in Police Station Karamunsing when some members lodge Police Report on 11.11.12.

Nothing wrong to support members of ADOS when lodging Police Report after my 3 Police Reports failed to get the Police action when S lo did it illegally and then blame JK as per YTC's letter. Double whammies..

  144. To Stello Lo
If the member said his detective friend who works in Karamunsing told him it was you who called the police to come to the church then what sort of a woman are you? Do you know the people already have a bad impression of you and your family and you still want to make matters worse! Do you know some of the members do not want to receive holy communion from you and your hubby, they said they do not like tainted hands! How can you and your hubby still serve God when dishonesty is allowed in the church, carrying tales to AV,doesn't this cause disunity among your colleagues? People barking at the wrong tree and you just kept quiet? You are another one,did not want to own up your evil doings! Is it you too infected by NPD,could not remember what you did,or you did it to protect your husband from being ordained? Don't you know your behaviour has gone down to the lowest of the low?

  145. What future does our ADOS have under the present crooked leadership?how long do we have to bear with spiritual leaders who dare to tell lies after lie in God's sanctuary? It seems so far away. Apart from PS Margaret, it is sad to see there is no other clergies dare to stand out and stand for the truth even thought most of them are not happy with the leadership. furthermore, our rightful authority, the HOB which seems to be inactive and care-less. We are currently against all these odds. we have no choice but to keep on signing petition for the removal of our leaders. Meanwhile do give your strong support to our brother JK who will deal with the issues through civil court.

OPEN MESSAGE TO ALL IN THE PROVINCE OF ANGLICAN CHURCH IN SOUTH EAST ASIA.

A message of All Saints’ Cathedral on church’s Constitution?

In today’s (4 November, 2012) Sunday Bulletin of All Saints’ Cathedral, the Rector Yong Thiam Choy writes – “In the Parochial Church Committee (PCC) meeting last week, a few decisions were made to help our church to move forward. A committee will be formed to re-examine the Church’s constitution and give suitable suggestions according to the growth of the church.”

What kind of message is this when ALL the Constitutions of the Province need to be reviewed and not All Saints’ Cathedral only after BISHOPGATE of Albert Vun Cheong Fui ? (no sorry for not using Bishop as he is unfit).

  147. The big trees with rotten exposed roots will soon be uprooted and swept away by the Sandy super-storm of God. God has revealed to us recently His intervention through various sign both seen and unseen. The disobedient and heartless leaders have been pushed even further to a dead end through recent round of dialogues. The more nonsense they talk and do the more determined we are to get rid of him. Brothers and sisters, please be patient and persevere in our struggle for a better ADOS . Meanwhile stand behind the FIVE, JK and those in the frontline. Continue to stay united or else the devil will destroy us.

  148. All the signs are that AVCF is mentally unsound for reasons best known to himself, his families and cronies around him. If AVCF is mentally unsound, how can he be retained until the sabbatical leave next February, with greater costs to the ADOS.

If in doubt about his mental capacity and infirmity of mind, it is mindless go on leave and under supervision of a spiritual director - too costly for ADOS for the mess AVCF had created.

The best place is to send him to the Hospital Mesra Bukit Padang for a complete check to stop his madness be permanent.

    Act now Arbishop B. Lapok.

  149. I heard that a preacher told the congregation not to stop giving because some innocent people suffer because of the lack of funds.I hope this preacher realized that the offerings go to AV's coffers first. He will move the funds to where he sees fit!!! It was already found out that he moved away some of the funds from the ASC accounts without the members knowing! If the accounts are not transparent who want to give any more? The priests who keep silent and suffer silently, they are to be blamed. How are they going to testifying for the Lord if their rice bowls are more important than telling the truth! This is where they should all write to the archbishop to tell him of their hardships and to get to a solution fast! The members want this crisis to end fast but can we see anything coming soon? Don't blame the members, they really suffer too ,seeing their beloved church going down the drain!

  150. Most speakers should also expound on Matthew 5:25-26 instead of just 1 Corinthians 6:1-7 when going to the Civil Court?

Please don't be misled by bias preaching...

Matthew 5:25-26 New International Version (NIV)
25 “Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. 26 Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.
    and 1 Corinthian 6: 1-7

    New International Version (NIV)
    Lawsuits Among Believers
6 If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord’s people? 2 Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! 4 Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, do you ask for a ruling from those whose way of life is scorned in the church? 5 I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? 6 But instead, one brother takes another to court—and this in front of unbelievers!
7 The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?

  152. Most of the preachers either local or foreign put so much stress on tithes and offerings ,in other words, they cannot survive without financial support. It is not that the members don't give, but it must be transparent. To spend the members' hard earned money by making trips overseas under the guise of mission trips is poor excuse for glorifying God! By looking at the photos posted, did you see them ministering to the poor and needy people there? RM 200,000 spent on these 2 mission trips and we are asked to tithe some more?.I think those outside preachers did not know the real situation,if it was so,please don't meddle with our affairs. You are making it worse and why didn't you give counselling to AV,it takes two hands to clap!
One preacher said,by not giving some innocent people suffer-priests and pastors? Well the RM200,000 spent should go a long way to their salaries! Ask AV instead of helping the clergies,RM200,000 gone to a few people mostly to his family, the Los and his inner circle of supporters!

Some people always play down the blogs with so many anonymous players and I have become a victim of sort as AVCF and his cronies also think I use pseudonyms too and so much so that in a recent email AVCF wrote "Are you Joshua Kong?" when I had nothing to do with that email written by Sabah Anglicans?

  154. I hope the least HOB can do at the moment is to suspend AV until further decision and has to vacant the bishop's lodge for the bishop commissary whoever he is chosen by the HOB!After all he is already found guilty by the PAC and yet he is still enjoying his position as ADOS bishop! If he is not suspended,he can use the church funds to fight in his court case which is not fair to JK who has to find his own funds to fight for the truth. He still carry on his day to day administrations etc. If the court found AV guilty then it will embarrass the HOB for not doing anything when their own investigation team has found AV guilty.Time has been given to AV to repent but it has gone on deaf ears! He is already an embarrassment to the church being made a household name in jokes!!!!
We are sceptical that he will just leave obediently to go for his sabbatical leave!

  157. Aren't we all brothers and sisters in Christ, why there are factions like ASC,St Patrick's,St.Michael's and so on? Isn't John Yeo encouraging divisions if that letter was written by him to WT?He was telling WT only St.Patrick's people could comment and the others are outsiders. What is happening in our Anglican churches concerns everyone,Anglicans in particular .What goes wrong with one Anglican church affects all the rest. What AV and his cronies are doing also affect all Christians of other denominations! PCC of St Patrick's,you all must tell the truth, tell us that you all approved of an over priced 10 year old vehicle for your ass.bishop to drive. That was not what we heard and read from one of the comments posted in this blog quite some months ago.

The HOB was far too lenient to AV,found guilty and yet still stays on in the job.allowed him to choose a bishop commissary.allowed him to choose a spiritual counsellor, give him a holiday from 6-12 months with pay starting next Feb.2013,still enjoying his perks, breaking all the conditions laid down for him to obey and no actions taken against him. What is wrong with your HOB.many people said? Don't they want to put things right as soon as possible? How can a guilty person still be given the prerogative to do things as a bishop? It should be curbed as soon as he was found guilty!!

  160. I have a feeling that God wants to shake ADOS.If AV is not stopped,ADOS will become a cult with lots of people following AV without their knowing that he is heading in the wrong direction. If the building of his CC is allowed and if he still stays on,a lot of young people will be attracted by the grandeur of it,it will be another CHC,the church will grow by leaps and bounds but for the wrong reasons. They will regard AV as their idols just like the CHC young people treating KH as their idol and refused to believe that he could do any wrong. Some of our young people,I am afraid to say think the same.

The crisis is a blessing in disguise.God wants to weed out those that do not serve him faithfully, giving the faithful sheep the wisdom how to discern, bravery and strength to fight for the truth that Jesus taught us! If not stopped in time, his teaching will be deviated to another doctrine that AV is heading to,wealth and prosperity are the blessings from God. Why some people are not blessed, because they are not generous!!!!He said! Some really believe that, not knowing that there are con men as spiritual leaders . They are led to believe these leaders are anointed by God and speak on God's behalf. The devil has blinded their eyes but they are led to believe that the ones who fight for the real truth are the ones blinded wanting to stop the church from growing and spoil God's plan of spreading the gospel!! We all hope HOB realises all these and come out with a fast solution or is it again a gag order for the 10 not to say anything??????

We have to go back to the Scriptures to read how Jesus wants us to do-a master serves, not to be served!! Are our leaders doing that? They serve in the wrong locations favourite locations are overseas where our backyard needs people to serve them spiritually and financially!
